THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!. I special ordered 2 recliners from Wiggins Furniture 3/15/08, they were in my house less than 24 hours before they started falling apart. After 3 visits from the repair person he finally said they could not be repaired. I was lied too and strung along for months by Mr and Mrs and daughter Wiggins. It was only after my husband and I went to the store on 8/2/08 to try once and for all to solve the matter, Mr Wiggins called the police and told them we were trespassing! I have never been so mortified, I am a 57 year disabled LADY and he called the police on me...because I wanted him to do what was the right thing, repair/replace my chairs. In the 4 1/2 months I tried to work with them I never asked for my money back, just do what is right. Finally someone from Wiggins Furniture called my husband today 8/4/08 and they came and picked up the chairs and refunded my money minus the delivery fee...they are that cheap! There are too many other stores with great folks who will treat you right, don't shop at Wiggins!
Quality furniture without high pressure. My wife and I just recently purchased a living room group from Wiggins Furniture and had a great experience. The best part was the fact that we were promptly greeted at the door by a salesperson but then we were allowed to shop throughout the store without being hounded. We made the mistake of shopping all the way to Houston and back but found the same high quality Lane furniture right here in Conroe without all of that high pressure sales and supposed big discounts. I definitely give Wiggins Furniture 2 THUMBS UP for providing a Friendly and Relaxing environment to shop in with just the right amount of customer service.
Furniture Store to Avoid. Wiggins Furniture Inc. has to be one of the WORST places to purchase furniture. I just purchased a recliner for my father-in-law today from them. If it wasnt' for the sake of Fathers day coming right around the corner, I would have walked out.. The salesman the we had Gary was VERY nonchalant w/ my husband and I nor did he really care about what we really had to say. I was already angry but still going to make the purchase and he introduced me to Kim Wiggins and when I asked her about markup or price reduction on the item we were looking at (didn't realize that it was such a touchy subject) she sorely attempted to compare that to her asking me about my mortgage pmt.. She let me know how offended she was and stormed out of the front area and hid in the back until we left. I PROMISE I will never walk into that store again and will let everyone in my path know about this experience and how little Wiggins Furniture really cares about the customer...just the bottom line
