Despite going there for years, they
cancelled on me last minute before my daughter had a major event on a Saturday afternoon. Nobody on the team was willing to help out when one of the designers had to leave for the day. Despite years of dedicated patronage, they treated us really badly.
I think the hair experts are good hear, but the management is very poor. Such a shame.

Fantastic Salon. had a wonderful experience and have beautiful hair! This place is worth the trip and the money! Sherry did a fantastic job! The staff is friendly and they all seem to get along really well... NO DRAMA in this salon! If you are looking for a great salon on the West Side of town, this would be it!

Thanks Katy & Trish !!!!. I just want to say I have been going to Upper Hand for awhile now. I always go to Katy to get my hair done. Katy always does a great job and is so sweet and really takes the time to listen to how I want my hair. Katy did an amazing job yesterday and i have gotten so many compliments since. Also I went to Trish to get my nails refilled and she is a MASTER at Nails .. I love my hair and nails..THANK YOU LADIES!!!!!!! You started my weekend off right!!!

Best Pedicures. I have been a regular customer for many years now. I love Miss Brenda and the pedicure service I receive each time I come in. She's the BEST!

why katie you done that to my hair why?. i looking for more than year for good salon for my hair and after that i read the reivews about this salon and about katie fierst she do my hair good and after that i went to do the rest of my hair cous she told me thay didnt do all the hair i pay more than 300 dollars never mind ,but after she done she used toner and it make my hair color like rust so bad so dry so gluy why ?i told hair ddont put toner in the top but she didnt care

Best Salon in Houston. I have been going to the salon for many years and I have to say that Shiva is the best stylist I have ever had. My entire family goes to her and we all love her!

Best hair salon in west Houston area. I have been a regular client at the Upper Hand in Royal Oaks for over 3 years and am there at least twice a month. They have a very friendly staff and excellent hairstylists. Shiva is my stylist and she is extremely talented with my "fine" hair texture and very good with color ideas. My husband is also a regular client of Shiva's and our daughter, who lives in San Diego, visits her when in town. Lisa is very good at waxing and eyebrow shaping, also. We feel at home there and highly recommend the salon.

SIMPLY THE BEST !. Each and every person who works at the Upper Hand is a true professional and a very nice person. Brian who does my hair; is the best hair cutter and color person I have ever seen.
