Best color, highlights and hair cut.
Jennifer Riding is the best! I'd let her do whatever she wants to my hair as she has an expert eye for color, highlights and cut! I wanted to go blonder and let me tell you I am complimented wherever I go on my hair. She knows her clients, listens to there needs and concerns and works with them to achieve the greatest results. So if you are looking for an awesome stylist see Jennifer. The other stylist at The Upper Hand at Royal Oaks are great as well so you will not be sorry going to this salon for your needs.
Also, if you need to get your eyebrows done, reshaped whatever go see Lisa! She isn't called the Queen of Eyebrows for nothing! She does miracles with eyebrows, tinits, shapes, etc., so you look awesome. Also, if you are tired of dealing with putting mascara on every day, let Lisa tint your lashes.
So if you are looking for a really awesome place that is friendly and treats their clients like gold then you need to go this salon!

Best Salon in Houston. I had been looking for a long time to try and find that perfect place to get my hair done, and I have found it! I have been going to the Upper Hand Salon in Royal Oaks for over a year, and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed, but with a beautifully sophisticated flair and the customer service is wonderful! I would also like to take time to recommend the stylist, Courtney. She is very attentive to what you ask her for, and she also takes the time and effort to go through styling options if you need them! The first time I went to see her was after a horrible highlights job that a previous salon had done, and she fixed it up beautifully! Each time I go in she tells me what colors and styles are in and what would look best. I was sold then, and I have not been disappointed once since.

Bast Hair Salon in Houston.
To say I love the Upper Hand Salon in Royal Oaks would be an understatement. I have been going there for over a year. The customer service is amazing. Everyone in the salon is so friendly and helpful.
When going to get your hair cut and colored there I highly recommend Nancy. She is a genius . She never has disappointed me. I have gotten my haircut and colored at some of the other top salons in Houston and no one has ever compared to her.
When I fist went to see her I had a dull hair color and bad cut and my hair now looks totally different. I have never left there disappointed.

Jennifer Ridings - is the BEST!!!!!. Jennifer was recommended to me by a co-worker. I am so glad - because she gave me the best haircut I have had in years. Do yourself a favor and give her a call you will not regret it.

Jennifer Ridings IS THE BEST. This is the first time I have been to The Upper Hand, and I scheduled with Jennifer Ridings. She gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and how I described to her! I went to work and described her as Edward Scissor Hands... (LOL) I have recommended all of my co-workers and friends to her. She is a sweet girl with a great personality! She will now be my new stylist!!!! Thank you so much!

Simply Wonderful.
I've been coming to The Upper Hand at Royal Oaks off and on for many years. Occasionally I've tried other places but I always come back. The stylists really work to make sure that you like your haircut and color and they do what you ask - there are no unpleasant surprises. I trust Sherry, Shiva and the other stylists completely.
I had a facial with Lisa the other day and she was wonderful too - very friendly and gentle.
Everyone at the staff is very polite and professional.

Great haircut-. I went to Upper Hand for the first time...and for the first time in 5 years seeing all different kinds of hairstylists - I walked out so happy. Katie did an incredible job and really listened to what I wanted - and then delivered. I would go there again in a heartbeat!!!
