Great lunch spot! Less than $10 for an entree, egg roll and salad! Chile paste chicken is my fave, spicy and simple.

Service is not that good. We waited a long time before we made a complaint and were told that it was taking time to defrost the meat. When we asked another server, she informed us that our orderv had been mistakenly served to another customer. Now that is really bad service. What is worse is being lied to and have the manager confirm the lie. It will be a cold place in some place before we go back to that place. Some people just have that uncanny ability to lie with a smile. We have noticed that less and less customers are going back.

My favorite Thai place. This place has the best spring rolls, the best tom cha soup (sp?), yummy curry of all the colored varieties, and really great lunch specials! I've never been disappointed and the atmosphere is simple, pretty, and quiet.

The Flavor & Service is deteriorating. I have been going to Thai Cottage from the moment they opened. As they have grown into an established thai restaurant that is packed all of the time, unfortunately they have lost that wow factor in their food. The decor has been upgraded for sure and while i appreciate it, to me the focus of a restaurant should be to maintain the standard of food

The last four times Ive gone in and taken food to go I have been sorely disappointed with the lack of flavor. Im not sure if the ownership/chef changed. Their pad thai used to be delicious and now its quite bland. Thankfully the panang curry tastes somewhat similiar but still not the same pop like it used to.

The final straw for me was when we were dining on a weekday evening last month and the waiters were circling our tables like sharks asking if we were done yet and we kept saying no. (No offer to refill our water though). The waitress actually started picking up our plates while I had a fork of food in my mouth and plenty of food in the dishes and my plates. There was still 40 minutes to close and about 6 other groups eating. I was really turned off by that.

Sad to say but this will no longer be my regular joing, instead Ill drive a little distance to go to Thai Spice in Rice Univ area.

The BEST Thai Restaurant I have ever been to. This is my favorite restaurant because the food is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. I do not have a very high tolerance for spicey food but I love the flavor of Thai food which usually turns out to be a problem. Every other Thai restaurant I have ever been to cannot seem to control the level of spice in the dishes at all. Thai Cottage knows exactly how to control the level so you can actually enjoy the meal. The lunch special is awesome (around $6-7 for a crispi vegetarian roll, a salad with an amazing peanut sauce, and an entre). The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Seriously, I think I might have an addiction to this food because I crave it all the time.

Best place to eat before a movie.. I love to go here before I go to the movies. (there is an Edwards Cinema next door). I like their fried spring rolls. I think they call them twin rolls. I also get the Tom yum guy (I think). Its a lemon grassy soup with straw mushrooms and chicken. Then I get a yellow curry chicken. You have to order the curry extra spicy. they are afraid of hurting their customers there.

Favorite Lunch Place. Food is delicious and service is pretty quick once your seated. My favorite lunch dishes are the Red Curry & Spicy Shrimp. If you are in a hurry, you will need to arrive early as the place fills up quickly. Also, I recommend to request for "Anong" for your waitress, she is very polite, checks on you to make sure you have what you need and with a very sweet personality, lovely lady!

Best Thai Lunch in the Houston Area. I have eaten at several Thai restaurants throughout the country and this is about the best and most affordable I have eaten at. The Red Curry is absolutely delicious and can be spiced to taste. For lunch you get the entree, soup or salad, and a crispy roll for under ten dollars. Its an excellent bargain. If Thai curry is not your thing then any of the other choices are excellent as well, as I have never had anything on the menu that is bad. I would recommend the Chili Mint Chicken if you are looking for something a little on the different side. As for the service, it is excellent, my tea glass is always refilled before I get half way done with it.
