Great Food, Friendly Service

I've been several times in the past few weeks. A great find. Lunches are a great value. Sampler Platter is a must. Very fresh food with excellent garnishes. Just one visit and you'll be hooked. It's like Kim Son was 15 years ago. Very friend and accommodating wait staff.

First time experience - bad food straight away

I went to the Le Viet for the first time, ordered a crab soup. What they brought was a bowl with a tiny bit of crab meat and a lot of crab sticks cut in pieces (that's crab meat imitation). When I called for an administrator, and explained that I didn't order imitation of the crab meat, but a soup with real crab meat (as specified on the menu), the administrator took the plate to the backroom, then returned back with it and said "he says there is a crab meat in there", and pointed to one tiny piece, floating among shredded & boiled egg parts. Then turned his back to me and went away.

I felt like cheated. They included this 9.50$ "crab" soup on my bill. What I would expect for nearly 10$ is to get a bowl of a real crab meat soup with no junk like crabsticks. Or at least, to see these crabsticks on the menu in the soup ingredients, or to be warned by the waiter.

At the end when I went to the cashier to pay my bill and returned back, as advised by the waiter to wait for the change, I found that one of the cleaning guys put their cleaning cloth and a bottle of cleaning liquid right on my seat!

No surprise I was one of only 3 customers in the restaurant.

Beware!

• Pros: Interior was ok.
• Cons: Cheating on food quality. Misbehaved low-level service staff.

Pretty Good

Ambiance was nice. A co-worker friend highly recommended this place so much that he offered to take us there. It was delicious.....a little pricy, but good and fresh.
