User review by sequin_blu. this is one of my favorite coffee shops (second only to the one i work at). they have a plethora of yummy vegetarian foods... not to mention some of the best soy milk that i have ever had. the coffee is good, the baristas are friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful. guaranteed to make even the pickiest coffee snob happy.

mod'. Social gathering place. Community center. Progressively political bulletin board. Independent film nights on friday - a breath of fresh air in galveston! The pastries are incredible! They have fantastic coffee drinks, and give you a choice of soy milk. Try the smoothies! They carry all kind of great beer and wine, and the service is consistantly wonderful - very nice people who aren't pretentious...my favorite coffee shop ANYWHERE, not just Galveston! A great place to study, hang out, discover new music, new magazines (including Adbusters and Bust, just to name a few), and constantly jamming great music that I would otherwise never hear of.

Great coffee and desserts. Oh, my! What a wonderful little coffee shop. Everything tastes great including the fresh baked scones and blueberry muffins. Their expresso brownies are extremely rich, and if you like lattes, you will absolutely love their caramel dream! The atmosphere is great and the people are nice. I go here and study on the balcony almost everyday. Free popcorn and movies on Friday nights.
