If You Are Changing The Food Change The Name. This restaurant is very good but I thought it was much better when the Pallotta family owned it. I tried to talk to the new owner to see why he is not taking down the name Pallotta's but he will never give me and my husband an answer. I personal think it is wrong to keep the name up on the building but I think they are afraid of taking it down because of what might happen to their business. But that is just my opinion. I still think the food is very good and I still will eat at the restaurant when my friends want to go but why keep the name up and why can’t they give me an answer.

Always a winner. I have been to the Black Walnut several times and have never been disappointed. Everything is casual and comfortable. Service is fast and friendly. Navigating the wide selection of menu choices is the hardest part of every visit.

Bad Management. I was very disappointed after having my entree brought to my table and finding out it was the wrong order. I asked to have replaced and was by management with a frown and no apology. Just down right rude. Then I overheard mangement calling a customer out and calling him names.. Not impressed.. I had brought many a family and friend here and will not in the future.

Editorial Review. Casual cafe favorite in the Woodlands Town Center for lingering lunches and a varied menu.
