This place blows. Absolutely ridiculous!

Now I know first hand why the government keeps a close eye on monopolies.

This "F" ing place!

I must have 500 dollars in deposits. Anytime my water is turned off i just go out to the meter and turn it back on. These bastards!

I wouldn't wish these "a" holes on my exwife!

All and I mean all of these reviews are correct about this damn dump.

AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!. This company is horrible! I get paid every 2 weeks, so I always have a paycheck at the beginning of the month, before my bill is due, and I mail my payment. Since I have moved in my house 2 years ago, my check THAT I MAIL ON TIME, is not cashed until 2-3 weeks after I mail it. I am then charged a late fee, because they say they did not receive it on time. FUNNY!, I never have any issues with my mortgage, gas, car note, electric, or insurance companies ever recieving my bill on time! But for some reason this company says that I am late! I mailed my bill on time on 1/12 ( I live about a mile away), and I come home on 1/20 and have a disconnect notice on my door, no letters, no calls, water was just shut off. Unbelievable! I call at 4:45 pm and am told that the company is closed and that I can call back at 8am. I try to explain that the bill was paid and if they had not received it yet, it was only a few days late, but that I mailed it well ahead of time for them to receive it. I also explain that I mailed my gas bill the same day that I mailed their bill and the gas bill had already been received and processed (cashed) and was sent to an address over 400 miles away. The operator told me again to call back at 8 am the next day. I was furious and had to go without water! The next day my husband called and they basically told him that the bill was not paid, and he tried to explain their history of not cashing the check until 2-3 weeks after it was mailed. My husband called me and asked me to handle it, because the woman that he was speaking to was the rudest and most unprofessional woman that he had ever spoken to, and he did not want to lose his temper. I called and spoke to the same lady, don't even remember her name, because she wouldn't shut up for 30 seconds so I could ask her. I tried to explain the situation to her. I gave her dates of the past few months that I wrote and mailed the check and the dates that they were cashed through the bank, consistently 2-3 weeks after being mailed. She did not want to hear anything that I had to say and kept cutting me off and stating that the bill was not paid. I told her about my gas bill already being cashed and she said that "There is a problem with your post office". I then told her that all of my other bills are mailed and cashed within 5 days and I am never given late fees. She again blamed me and said that I was mailed 4 disconnect notices. I informed her that I had not received any notice, and she replied "That's funny", and again informed me that there must be a problem with my post office, or I am not paying the bill. I was furious at this point and again tried to point out that this is the only utility company that I have an issue with receiving and cashing my bills on time and how could it possibly be the post office, if everything else is going through. I then informed her that the company does not offer any other way to pay, except mailing in a check, so I have no other option and am getting charged a late fee every month, because they say they haven't received the bill. By this point I'm furious and I ask her if I can change companies, because I am highly dissatisfied with the way that they do business and the way that I was being treated and the response she gave was, "Not if you choose to live in Harris County". UNBELIEVABLE! At that point, i called her a bitch and hung up. Childish of me, yes, but I really couldn't help it. In the end I had to go in and pay $104 that I had already mailed, and they for some reason had not received after 8 days, and I live 1 mile away, plus a $50 reactivation fees.

This company is horrible. They treat their customers like crap and I think that it is ridiculous that I have to pay them.

PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SO THAT THEY CAN BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS OR AT THE VERY LEAST GIVEN A TASTE OF THEIR OWN SELFISHNESS AND HAVE TO PAY SEVERAL FINES!!!!

Horrible. This "management" company is horrible. Earlier this year, I changed names on the account (I had renters in my house) to my name, so I sent in a deposit fee for changing this. Two months later, I find out they didn't change the account to under my name, and I haven't received any bills. So, I had to send another check, even though the first deposit was cashed by this company. After another 2 months of not receiving a new bill, I get a notice on my door about getting my water shut off, so I rush to pay my bill, which I did. Today, I got my water turned off after not receiving any bills for the past few months. These idiots sent bills to me, but apparently used an incorrect last name, so the post office didn't deliver the bills to me. So, for this year, I've had to pay two deposit fees, several late fees, and my water turned off because they cannot put in my correct information. (Yes, I should have contacted them sooner, but whatever). How can we get a new management company that allows you to pay online, and has friendly service.

Terrible, awful company. Ok, I'm human, I didn't get my check there in time (the company is not convenient to my home, and they don't have online services). I am 2 days late on my bill. They gave me a final notice to disconnect my service if service was not paid in advance by the 14th. I mailed in the one payment I was behind on the middle of last month, and they gladly cashed it before the 1st of this month. But the check I mailed on the 10th hasn't reached them yet. Or they are so slow opening their mail. After my service was interrupted (no knock on the door to warn the sitter, or have me write a check at that moment), I called their office, to find out they don't have my check, and now a reconnection fee is due. I can't wait for them to receive my check to notice that it was postmarked before the due date, so I have to personnally go to their office and pay EXACTLY what is due in cash or money order. They don't have change. And they don't accept credit/debit cards. And if they receive my check after this fiasco, which they will, they will credit it to my account. The reason they can treat customers this way is because they are the only water company around who can supply us water. I have lived in my home for almost 10 years, and this is the first time I have had this problem with ANY company. I pay all my other bills through their online services, but this company doesn't even have the capabilities for that. But they have the money to build a new office right behind their old one, which was a converted residential house. They are rude, and arrogant, and no matter your situation, they treat you like a dead beat. If I could, I would install a well and be done with this foolish nonsense. But, like others like me, I am a working middle-class mother who lives in a subdivision with a small back yard. This is why they thrive and make money, treating their customers like trash. Well, I have learned my lesson. I will have to swallow my pride, bow down to the queens in drap polyester-something outfits and 80's make-up and hairstyles, and make sure if I really want water, my payment must get to them on time, every time.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I went in a week before I moved into our new house to put down our deposit and pay their connection fee. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude, not to mention her chest was falling out of her shirt. But I made the payment and she told me the water was already on, we were good to go. A few days after we moved in, and the water had been on, I come home to a letter on the door that they removed my meter and the water was shut off. After calling the after hours answering service 4 times and waiting 2 hours,I finally received a call back from the on-call technician. He was extremely rude and suggested that maybe my check bounced and that was why my water was off. He at first told me that this was a billing issue and there was nothing he could do. My husband got on the phone with these idiots and made sure they came and turned the water back on that day. It was 10 at night before we had our water back on. These people obviously don't know what they are doing and it sux because they are the only water company in the area.

Idiotic Company. This is one of the most idiotic companies I have ever come across. We moved and received a $3.65 final bill which was paid. They have been billing us for two months and claim they have not recieved our check even though it has already been taken out of our checking account. We have provided them a copy of our checking statement and now they want a copy of the front and back of the check. This will cost us $15.00 to get. WHAT AN IDIOTIC COMPANY!!!!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!. I'm moving in to my first home and my mom took my $75 deposit 11/21, because their 8am-4pm schedule sux for us that have to work our 8-5 workweek. I had a receipt and told her that my water would be on by 11/24, there was water on 11/24 and on 11/25 there was no water and it was too late to get them to come out. On 11/26, I left a couple of messages and hadn't gotten a call back, I'm suppose to be moved in this weekend and I can't finish cleaning before moving in. I called 11/28, 3 times and the 3rd time they tell me that my house is under move out list and they can't call anybody to come out and get my water on. What kind of service is that, I made the payment and they can't come out because some idiot at the office put me on the move out list. I have to pay extra to stay a couple more days at my old place...these are unexpected expenses that i really shouldn't have. The call center can't give me any numbers in case of emergency because of somebody elses mistake. These is a horrible service and if I missed a payment which i don't plan to, but if I did you know they will be calling every phone number available.

UNPROFESSIONAL. A women based company that does not know how to deal with people. They knew that we were coming in to pay our bill and STILL disconnected our water & on top of that they want to charge us $326.00 for a $75.00 water bill.....gimme a break! I would not recommend this so called company to anyone. I know several people that deals with this so called company and they have had the same problems that i have had, the only problem is that this is the only water utility company that takes care of this area that i live in, So in other words us hard working everyday people have to take it up the rear while this so called company snatches our money. If anyone has this problem then they should report them to like I and many others did and or is doing~!!!!!!! THIS COMPANY SUX!!!!!!

This company is the worst company ever. This company is horrible. They do not have online payment. So you must pay in office or mail a check. The one time I mailed a check they "lost" it and shut off my water when the payment was not there the day after the bill was due. Then they took 2 days to turn it back on (which just so happened to be my birthday). When I went to the office to see what happened they said they never got my check but didn't offer any reason as to why they shut my water off after 1 day....Then they were rude and would not even take my check-actually made me drive to go get a money order. None of this would not have happened if they were not in the stone age and took online or credit card by phone even. Oh and lets not forget the horrible customer service and the fact that their phone is busy half the time and when you do get ahold of someone they tell you it isnt possible for it to be busy. AND THIS IS WHEN YOU CAN GET AHOLD OF THEM-THE OFFICE CLOSES AT 4!

THIS COMPANY IS ARCHAIC!. THIS COMPANY IS ARCHAIC! This is the ONLY Utility company, bill, service, or business that I deal with that doesn't have ONLINE BILLING or Bill Pay. I can pay anyone all over the WORLD with credit cards, debit cards, or even PayPal but not with this company, my ?Local? water service. It is run out of someone's house? I keep hoping they will join this Century sometime this Decade! And not only that, they close their office at 4:00!!!!!!!!!! What kind of customer SERVICE provides no service to their customers when needed? I am STRONGLY urging my homeowners association to dump this Po-Dunk ?service? and chose a company that will meet its customers' needs.
