Wow!! im so glad i saw this review from chandra. I moved to Houston last year and joined this location around december 2011. I just recently canceled my membership and told them last month it was my last month payed the 50 dollars and i was out! had no problem there? The service was also very enjoyable and they made great recommadtions. It makes me mad that people can go on here and bash this place because they cant cant read the basic info on there membership. The services are worth every penny!!!

Never again!. Never, ever again. After purchasing a groupon for a week of services, the planet beach associate told me of their special groupon deal. I sat with this associate, asking multiple questions, over and over again, for over 45 minutes (I've had memberships b/f and know the tricks). I specifically asked about the cancellation policy, and up front told her I was only needing services up until my sister's wedding. She assured me, over and over again, all I would owe was $50. After the wedding, I go to cancel, and am told it's over $100 to cancel! She even wrote on my contract, $50 to cancel. The manager then stepped in as she heard I was asking questions, stated she understood, and could tell by my contract I did ask extensive questions, and it did look like I was told something incorrectly. She assured me a regional representative would contact me.

The next day I go into tan, and the associate who signed me up was there, and I asked her, again, about the cancellation charges. She states, 'yes, its $50..' and I explain to her how she forgot to mention the additional charges...all she states back is, "oh....". The manager whom I had spoken to the day before is listening to us, and I ask the associate, didn't your manager tell you I was hear yesterday and you incorrectly represented your contract? She states, no! What kind of company doesnt at least attempt to correct their associates when they give out bad information, especially regarding contracts!?

I never heard from the regional representative, and I will never purchase anything from this company. Horrible, horrible service and their associates are not trained to properly handle their contracts.

Houstons ALL IN ONE Spa!!!!. I love Planet Beach! I know that is so un-original. But honestly, I do!

I have been to my fair share of tanning salons and what-have-you's in my life time, heck, I even grew up having a tanning bed in my house and I even worked at a salon when I was in HS. I have never found a place I have enjoyed as much as Planet Beach!

The staff at all the Houston locations has succeeded my expectations. They are always there to help me out when I have sometimes the silliest of questions. They continue to educate me on all of their products and services, which I have found to be the most helpful. I love how they are so sweet to walk you thru a service, whether it be my 2nd time or my 20th! They go above and beyond-from the owners to the staff. I recently brought my mom who was in town to the spa with me and she was impressed at how well the staff knew almost every since person that walked thru the door. That is something I never could do back in the day and thats something I haven't been able to find just anywhere! They were even so kind to give her a complimentary session!!!!!!!!! Of which I picked the Hydration Station thingy and she LOVED IT!!!!!!

I love their services, granted they are very busy-I guess everyone loves them as much as I do. They spa services are nice-because im in and out in like an hour or an hour and a half and I feel super relaxed and refreshed and ready to tackle on rush hour traffic or the rest of my day! The staff is good at making some awesome recommendations on their products that have helped me to achieve my goals, and they really do every thing they can to make sure along the way that I am taken care of!

So for all the negative nancy's out there or the skeptical ones-This really is an awesome place to join or stop by when you have the time. I promise you won't be disappointed! Its a great retreat and something affordable you can do for yourself or better yet, for someone else!!!!!

Worst one so far.... I feel very uncomfortable every time I walk in to this place. They are very aggressive with sales.

I prefer spas where I can use the services on a first come first serve basis. There were times I walked in there and nobody was using the service I wanted but they told me it was booked. I will shop around for other spas, thankfully there are plenty of them in the neighborhood.

Rated number one in my book!. Very attentive staff very friendly never rude. Awesome Mystic and GREAT spa services!!! I have never seen such cool stuff. I can go in and get pampered with no down town!! Everything is so easy at the touch of a button! I love Planet Beach and would never dream of going anywhere else for my tanning or spa needs!

I LOVE THE BEACH!!!. I love the beach, I found this place through my friend when I was getting ready for my wedding last year. Everyone there was very well trained and I got an amazing, perfect natural tan, even in the sunless. I never know there was so much instruction involved in spray tanning but with their help, I have never looked better. Totally worth the membership, amazing company.

Best tanning spa ever!. I would recommend Planet Beach to anyone of all ages! Not only do they provide all level beds without the fees which is totally opposite from Darque Tan, but they also have really cool and relaxing spa services. The staff is very helpful and thoughtful. My mom and I both go to two of their locations. That is the one thing that we love because they do have convienient locations.

Houstons BEST Spot. I love this place. I have lived all over and had my fair share of tanning memberships around this country. What I love about Planet Beach that makes it stand out from all the rest is their variety. Hands down. Ive never been to another place where you can get a facial, a spray tan or regular tan, a massage and also a machine that helps you burn over a couple hundred calories in all of my life. The customer service is unbeatable along with their easy affordable prices. I am and always will be a fan and member for life!

If you want results, tan here!. I've tanned for years and never had results as quick as I have with Planet Beach. Seriously, if you want amazing color at a rediculously low price come here!

Ted's cool, he hooked me up on a good membership, and the rest of the staff is really nice, cute too!

I would reccomend this place to anyone!

Best tanning in town. Great equipment. Great results. The massage bed is great after a gym workout. My wife liked the facial and skin hydrator. Friendly staff - they know you by name. Fixed monthly rate covers all services - not like Darque Tan with all the upgrade charges.
