FINE GREEK RESTAURANT WHILE YOU ENJOY BELLY DANCING

  • New Owner Since 2005
  • Bar Open Late on Fri & Sat
  • Belly Dancing on Fri & Sat

Alexander The Great has been under new ownership since 2005. We have the finest greek cuisine in town! We have belly dancing on Friday & Saturday's. The show starts at 9pm. We also have a bar and lounge that you can stay at after dinner that stays open past the time the kitchen closes which is at 10pm during the week and 11pm on weekends. We are open on Sundays. We also cater, so if you are in the mood for Greek or Mediterranean, give us a call! We know you will enjoy fine food, lots of smiles, and a great time at Alexander The Great! We look forward to serving you... Please call for reservations, ;)

Editorial Review for Alexander the Great – by Joshua Hinsdale

In Short
Diners at this Galleria-area favorite are encouraged to suspend reality and enter a Mediterranean wonderland of food, music, art and friendship. Meals are started with fresh-baked bread and olive oil and are often finished with homemade baklava. In between, diners feast on such delicacies as rack of lamb, osso bucco, calamari, artichokes, scallops, grilled shrimp and even octopus. Diners can order a Greek or seafood combination platter for a sampling of the menu's tastiest offerings.

Nothing 'fine' about it. Food is average and service is painfully slow. Our waiter was unfriendly, nonchalant at best. Went for the first time...will never go back.

Pros: none

Cons: has nothing going for it...why are they in business?
