In Short – This entertainment spot offers a variety of games and rides that accommodate all ages. For the tots, the play land rides are enjoyable--and tame. Laser tag and paintball offer a heavier dose of thrill for older kids. Other attractions include go-carts, miniature golf, bumper boats, video games (with tickets and prizes) and batting cages. Pizza is available when the appetite hits. While eating, watch a show by the automated dogs onstage. –

Pathetic,Poorly ran, dirty potties and RUDE staff

by Nichols06 at Citysearch

Thursday Feb 12,2009 My husband & I took our 2 teenagers to Zuma for some gocarts, mini golf, bumperboats, batting cages, video games and Pizza. We arrived @ Zuma at 4 pm and they JUST OPENED.I had called earlier in the day to check the times which clearly stated on the recorded message they opened at 12 NOON-9 PM..Again we arrived at 4PM and they had just opened. We bought the fun pass which was 24.89 w/ tax and the mgr (what a joke) told us that the gocarts and bumper boats wouldn't open until 6 because he had no staff there (he was the only one there) and they would be closing at 8:30.So we played a few games, more than half of these games didn't work & couple ate our tokens and so decided we would try our luck at mini golf. The courses were littered with trash leaves etc some of the "green turf" was torn up making putting the ball a chore so we decided we would get a drink and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day.We went back to the desk and I ordered a icee he said we don't have icees (the menu said different) I looked at the soda fountain and he said we have no drinks or food at all.He claimed this was because they were changing vendors. We drove to a store to get a soda determined we would have fun with the go carts and bumper boats. At 6:10 someone finally got there and started the carts,we rode a few times and my husband asked the guys who were working the carts when the bumper boats would open (this was almost 7) and he said its too cold.It was 67 last night (i checked when we got in my car) and proceeded to chat up his woman friend who had been there quite a while. We went inside and I politely asked the "manager" if he had a contact number for the management company for ZUMA,he asked what the problem was and I told him.He walked away from the counter across the game room to a office and a couple of minutes later returned with a piece of paper with a number scratched on it,I said thank you and he walked off silently. This place is sad and poorly ran.

What a joke........

by illgiveup at Citysearch

Why anyone would bother to come to this joke of an entertainment center is beyond me.

To give you an idea of how outdated this place is, one of the great prizes you can win for getting a bunch of tickets is a Playstation 2. More than half of the video games didn't work, and the ones that did were almost a decade old. The customer service at this place was the most awful I've ever seen. The bathrooms smelled worse than a portapotty. The only thing that this place seems to have going for them are the go carts but honestly I didn't ride them because I don't want to encourage this place from going out of business. This place was so disgusting I couldn't even be angry all I could do was laugh.

  • Pros: Go Carts
  • Cons: Everything else.

Ridiculously overpriced/under staffed

by peacemom at Citysearch

We had a reservation for a group event. We called the day before to confirm our reservation, and request that the food be ready at the time specified.

We had to wait in line for 30 minutes while they figured out why we didn't have the food. Not only that, but it took an additional 30 minutes to get the food delivered to our table... pizza. How difficult is that?

Skee ball didn't work at all. Not one was in working order. Only 1/3 of the go carts were available for use, so again, stood in line for 30 minutes. They only used half of the bumper boats, so we couldn't even all participate at the same time because they didn't want to get the others out. Several of our guests complained that the video machines took their tokens and didn't work.

A lot of the games were shut down or not working. Golf was ok, but I didn't spend $500 to play golf all day. I wouldn't book an event here if someone paid me to. Completely unacceptable.

Management needs to take a course in management as well. Their customer service skills are in dire need of improvement.

The thing that is most irritating... is that they weren't even busy. Never again. Which is a shame because the place has a lot of potential.

  • Pros: Good pizza.
  • Cons: Poor customer service.
