In Short – Palatial, neo-Chinese-style restaurant and banquet hall with a dramatic goldfish pond and spacious interiors decorated with collectible Vietnamese art. An economically priced lunch menu offers healthful choices, wok specialties and Mama La's rice platters. Menu highlights include crisp-fried Vietnamese egg rolls wrapped in lettuce leaves; spring rolls; peppered crabs and vermicelli dishes. Bo nuong xa, or grilled Vietnamese fajitas, are the perfect entree choice, served with a bundle of just-picked mint, purple basil, lettuces, carrots, cucumbers, pineapple and sprouts.
Consistently good...

This is one of those places where you know you can't go wrong, so it's a great place to take friends who drive in from the suburbs that might be put off by going to one of the many "mom and pop" Vietnamese joints that are a little "rough around the edges". The atmosphere is great, the building is very nice, extensive menu, and the food and service have always been great every time I've been. Take your grandparents here with no fear of scaring them. ;)
- Pros: Fancy for a Vietnamese eatin' place.
- Cons: None, really!

i doubt that there are many people here for any substantial time who have not eaten at this place. and i've never heard anything negative about the service, quality or menu selection at this location. Vietnamese cuisine, they started out years ago in a small lease space in an old strip center nearby. I've been there many, many times over the years and the food and service are consistantly good. They also have a bar and I'm told it attracts late - night Francophiles. The food is consistantly served up fresh during dinner. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Good lunchtime choices are the soup and noodle dishes.
- Pros: bar, fresh food, good service, adaquate parking, value
- Cons: can get crowded
You gotta try it!

I have been hearing great things about Kim Son for years so I figured I'd try it. We started with the Vietnamese egg rolls, which weren't my thing. As mainly a vegetarian, I could not catch onto the pork inside. We got the General Tso Chicken, which is what we get pretty much everywhere; impeccable. Great crispy outside, very good sauce flavor. The fried rice was the same as any other non-Hibachi restaurant. I really enjoyed the white chocolate shell passion fruit dessert, it was amazing. The prices were also great, great parking too!
- Pros: Great food, prices, service, parking, nice staff.
- Cons: Vietnamese egg rolls
