Hot Shot Wok is that reliable take-out spot for the many apartment residents in the area, providing big portions of tasty, if standard, Americanized Chinese fare. Sweet and spicy chicken dishes utilize big hunks of white meat and the hot and sour soup is rather commendable. Lunch and dinner specials come with either an eggroll or a crab puff and a soup while full servings mean leftovers for days. With only a few eternally empty tables in the tiny storefront, the focus is clearly on delivery, which is available for orders over $10.
