I never thought I would rate a Grocery Store!. This place is Absolutely horrible!

...but first the good....

Selection

...now the bad...

Customer Service - I never thought anyone would keep employees like this - Who is the manager? Is there one? The employees do not care, will not acknowledge your existance, sm@ck gum in your face -

... and here was the last straw -

Cart full of groceries, being checked out... no hello , no eye contact, kept talking with the sacker, sacker gets pulled away , I have to ask if she would take the Kroger Card when she was done scanning, she scanned it, then went to finish sacking. With about One Bag full she completely quit sacking our groceries and started talking to the girl behind her... She then Barely sacked a few more bags very slowly. About two bags left she completely quit, did not say a word to us and started scanning the next customer in line.... I stood there astonished that she could hold a job! Are you serious? Did you just forget? Are you too high to remember you are at work?

I finished sacking my groceries and left... Mind you, she never said one word to us during a 5- 10 minute interaction!

Hey Kroger! They are are called managers and secret shoppers!

Those with the best customer service at the end will win!

I now drive out of my way to go to HEB, even though I live a stone's throw from this Kroger!

Supermarket chain offers patrons well-stocked shelves of groceries and household products.. The Kroger Co. was founded in 1883 Ohio, by Bernard Henry Kroger. Since then the chain has expanded throughout much of the Southeast, acquiring several other grocery brands. Today, Kroger stores offer a wide variety of items, ranging from fruits, vegetables and meats to dairy, fresh-baked goods, housewares, beer and wine, books, magazines and flowers. Most locations also have a pharmacy and photo lab.
