Tips for Kroger Pharmacy

October 24, 2012

Today, I made my usual, almost daily, grocery purchases at Kroger in the Heights, and strolled through the wine department. While there, I was greeted by the friendly and familiar faces of James DeLeon and Rosendo Rodriguez. I was anxious to ask James about a wonderful new wine I had recently tasted at a fundraising event for my son's elementary school, me and my husband attended over the weekend. It didn't surprise me when James responded with a familiarity only a true Sommelier would. Not only did he greet me with my name, (James knows his good customers by name), he proceeded to educate me about the wonderful grapes of the Domaine Huet Vouvray region which France has to offer, he actually produced a bottle of it for me, and showed me where I could find it on the shelf in their wine department! I was so impressed, that I purchased a bottle of it on the spot. I know that the new Kroger's is opening soon on Studemont, however, I know that this Kroger's Store in the Heights has a special quality about it, and inventory, that will keep it's loyal customers coming back....the Kroger in the Heights Wine Team is the best! I foresee Kroger in the Heights becoming the premier store for hosting the perfect party at home or office. The beer, wine, and cheese selection exceeds expectations and is comparable to none, when it come to freshness, selection, and hospitality.

Supermarket chain offers patrons well-stocked shelves of groceries and household products.. The Kroger Co. was founded in 1883 Ohio, by Bernard Henry Kroger. Since then the chain has expanded throughout much of the Southeast, acquiring several other grocery brands. Today, Kroger stores offer a wide variety of items, ranging from fruits, vegetables and meats to dairy, fresh-baked goods, housewares, beer and wine, books, magazines and flowers. Most locations also have a pharmacy and photo lab.
