"Yummmm, Great Steaks and Great Food!!!!!!!!!". I saw this steak house on citysearch and we decided to try it. My family and I were not disappointed at all, yummm is all i have to say! Wonderful Steak and great service, we never had to ask for anything, the server was on top of his game. My family and I will be back! I was shocked my husband was so pleased because he is very picky!!!!! The kids loved their food too :)

Very diverse menu. Great menu selection, everything from taditional to exotic. My wife and I both had the buffalo ribeye steak and although the portions were just a bit on the small side we both thought the taste was excellant. Great lunch menu as well.

Great family dinner of steak and more!. My whole family of 14 met in Houston this past Christmas & enjoyed a great dinner here. My New Yorker husband digs the fact that when one orders a soda, they give you a glass of soda AND a carafe of more for refills. I like how they have both excellent steak & non-steak items. They also have exotic fare like ostrich. I split a delicious ribeye and the salmon & shrimp entree. The salmon was outstanding. However their shrimp (in both the cocktail appetizer & the entree) was just good, not great. We enjoyed other great apps (tater skins, pheasant). Had cheesecake w/ strawberry & chocolate sauces & Irish coffee for dessert, both were exceptional. Service was friendly but sometimes we'd have to find our waiter for stuff (we were put in a separate room because we needed a big table). A pleasant, high quality dining experience.

Steak Diane. I have gone to Cattleguard a couple of times and I always stick with Steak Diane. It is an excellent steak and the best I've ever ate. I have never found a place with a steak that good!!!

Cattle Guard.
I went there for lunch with friend on Saturday.
I had the ribs. My friend had the Fried Shrimp.
Both were very marginal and a major rip off at $14.99 each.
Salad was ok.
