partyyy!. On friday and saturday nights this is the best place to hang out! They have great hip hop music, and if you're in the mood for a good time this is the place to be. You can either lounge around on couches and smoke hookah or you can get up and dance! It's a really fun place to be! I stopped going for a couple months and I came back and they were closed. The sign was still up and everything but some guy said they closed it. Does anybody know if it opened back up? I wanna go back there and party! It was definitely a great past time of mine. Every friday my friends and I would go to the hookah bar and it was just a lot of fun. I'm seriousss.

high school kids hangout. we went to hookah bar on saturday night expecting to spend a relaxing few hours smoking hookahs, drinking wine and listening to middle eastern music. Instead, what we got was a dive filled with adolescents, grinding to hip-hop and latino music. Certainly not my idea of a hookah bar- the saving grace is the decent quality of the hookahs. I don't know how the place is on other days but certainly not recommended on saturday night.

Great Place! Please give it a chance!. I just went to this place for the first time recently. It was actually a great place. Sure, it isn't an up-scale fancy place, but it's very relaxed.

Another reveiw said that is place is "over priced" when that is not true. It was only 10 dollars for the hookah, and 2 dollars per refil. They are happy to come change your coals and make sure you get your monies worth, too! They are quick to serve and it is honestly a nice place to just sit down on the couch, and relax. No one in the place judges you or watches you like a hawk. The workers move around just like any customer, and trust you with the merchandise.

Wednesday Night was almost empty . . .good music and nice black lights. The bathrooms are also just as nice as any other bathroom you will find in downtown Houston.

Awful. I don't know WHAT that reviewer was talking about; the Hookah Bar is the most over-priced, disgusting dive in all of Houston. The bathrooms are atrocious, the "hookah" is sub-par and VERY expensive, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a high school hang out. Avoid at all costs.

A Middle Eastern tradition takes root on the Richmond Strip right next to an oxygenated oasis.. The Scene
Arabic entrepreneur Ayman Jarra transformed a nondescript office space into side-by-side clubs. Hookah is his interpretation of the Egyptian sheesha, while Oxygen is a cozy space with blue and pink neon cannulas (oxygen tubes). The former features 40 hookahs, an antique Maynard piano and big-screen TV. The latter features wall topiaries, abstract paintings and trance music to complement eight aroma-infuser stations ($10 for a 25-minute session).

The Draw
A hookah is packed with tobacco and a fruit like a lemon is wrapped in foil, then hot coals are placed on top of the lemon. When you inhale, the smoke is pulled through a water chamber connected to a long tube, past the lemon and hot coals and into your lungs ($5.99 for the first fruit, $3 for refills). Oxygen's air is, not surprisingly, mostly oxygen. The other 5-percent is comprised of aromatherapy solutions like Sublime (lime juice concentrate) and Clarity (eucalyptus and ginkgo) which are mixed with the odorless gas to purify and invigorate.
