Super fabulous. I do not like to give reviews, but for Pedro I must, the must amazing hairstyle in Houston you will get it here from color to haircuts this is the place to go.

I have people stop me everywhere and ask me about my highlights , haircut and color, and when I said everywhere is everywhere, I have people pull over and ask me, people at restaurants, always complement on my hair, that is why I gave him 5 fabulous stars

To feel good, you must look good! It is time to rise and shine!

Ovations Hair Studio is the Best. I have been going to this wonderful salon for 4 years now. Pedro is wonderfully talented and one of the nicest men you will ever meet. it is a small and comfortable salon with wonderful art and is tastefully very comfortable. I always feel like I'm at home there and can just relax and enjoy a conversation or read a magazine as I enjoy a glass of wine, whatever I feel like doing. I look forward to my time spent there. I give Pedro and the salon my highest recommendation.

Best ever!. Have been seeing the same stylist for a number of years when I decided it was time for a change. A friend recommended Pedro and I looked into getting an appointment with him.

As soon as I met him, I loved his personality (professional, friendly, and funny). Pedro took the time to talk with me and get to know me/my hair and the kind of cut I was looking for. He explained what my hair would do with the cut I wanted (pro's/con's) and gave me good tips for quick styling. Pedro spent time cutting my hair and really worked with it's natural texture.

In the end, he gave me the exact haircut I wanted (something I have not been able to get any other stylist to do) but an even better version of it than I imagined. With Pedro's expertise, my hair looks good straight, wavy, or even air-dried with no product! I am a low-maintenance girl, so I love that I can do absolutely nothing to my hair and it looks great!!

It's hands down the BEST haircut I have ever gotten. Thank you, Pedro!

A Houston Gem. This beautiful, peaceful salon has it all. The environment and space is warm and welcoming and the staff is exceptional. You feel welcomed the moment you walk in and you leave feeling beautiful and special. Pedro has done everything to my hair and I have loved it all. From a hair cut to hair straightening, I've been happy every time. Because my hair is curly and corse, its not easy to cut or color but Pedro knows how to cut and style hair so it easy for me to style it on my own and it always falls beautifully. His hair cuts are the only ones that work with me in Houston weather instead of against me. He's the best at a blow out...I would be there everyday if I could. My color always looks vibrant and shinny and my hair is healthy. He only uses high quality products and my hair is better for it. Ovations has it all, superior quality and service, excellent environment and an exceptional staff.

Beautiful, shiny, healthy, straight hair: Japanese hair straightening is well worth it. Pedro is the best!. Pedro and the Japanese hair straightening have made my life so much easier! I also have long hair for the first time in many years, because for the first time, my hair is manageable. And it looks GORGEOUS!

If you are considering having your hair straightened, you absolutely MUST have the Japanese hair straightening done at Ovations Hair Studio and Spa. I've had it done 4 times, and each time, I've been extremely happy with it. It lasts about a year, which is well worth the money. My time is precious, and this product has saved me so much time and effort. Before I did this, I was not able to air-dry my hair. Nor was I able to go out in the rain or humidity without having "Monica" hair (very frizzy, for those of you not familar with the Friends episode). Now I can do both and still look great. Imagine letting your hair air dry and end up perfectly straight! I can also travel without having to pack a flat iron.

Don't worry about your hair being damaged or over-processed. My hair is shiny, soft, and is very healthy. Every where I go, people tell me how beautiful my hair is and how healthy it appears. And yes, Pedro colors my hair too. It's no problem to do them both - just not during the same visit.

Do NOT be fooled by less expensive 'knock-offs". In 2002, I let a woman talk me into doing the Chi hair straightening. She claimed it was exactly like the Japanese product. Well, Chi may have nice flat irons, but their hair straightener stinks. It damaged my hair - we're talking brillo pad hair - and it only lasted about a month. And I have friends who recently experienced the same thing with other straighteners. So while many claim that you don't have to pay as much for the process, you should know that ONLY the real Japanese process works. Stylists must be specially trained to do this process, and Pedro is. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. You get what you pay for. And in this case, it's truly a worth it!

Breath taking experience for your hair. Ovations Hair studio is a unique quality hair salon. The personnel is friendly, and treat you like family. Pedro has many unique astonishing skills, ideas, and knowledge that you wont find in other hair salons. Arely is a treasured jewel, with her magic hands and inventive ideas, she can give you any look you want. She also listens to you, to make sure she doesn't give you what you don't want. Both of them combined make an excellent team complementing each others talents. Most importantly besides giving you the look you want, they make sure your hair doesn't get damaged in the process. These are only a few things they do. They are also known for their great make-up skills, in which they accentuate your best facial features and conceal imperfections. I am very picky when it comes to my hair, however Arely and Pedro have both performed tasteful artistic work on me. It truly is the best salon in Houston.

Best in town (guys too). Pedro is hands down the best hair stylist in Houston. I've never liked my haircuts, now I love it!!
