Seafood?????. My husband and I visited Outriggers for the 1st time and were very disappointed. We ordered the steak and lobster and the fried seafood platter. The seafood platter seemed to be frozen food that came from a box. Dirty rice also tasted as though it was from the box. ($25 too much) the only good thing was the salad and baked potato. Prices were high for the quality of food. I guess if you are only here for the view and drinks it would be an okay place to hang out. We have no desire to return to this place again. Waitstaff was good.

Horrible food. False advertising uninterested manager. My husband and I just ate there. We ordered the seafood stuffed avocado, described as two half avocados stuffed full of blackened shrimp and crab meat, topped with cheese and smothered in a rich cream sauce for $17.95. It came with two sides. We ordered sauteed vegetables and onion rings. So the avocados came out with a stiff fried breading (unadvertised), they contained two small boiled (not blackened) shrimp and a half teaspoon of crabmeat each. The seafood would not fill up a quarter cup. The veggies were steamed (not sauteed). The onion rings were a pale yellow, mushy and undercooked. The cream sauce was a watery unseasoned milky thin disgusting liquid that made the avocado breasing soggy. The co-owner defended the dish by stating that he served the same dish to 150 people this week and they all loved it..

Wow! Wonderful Place!. We came upon this place by accident and what a great find for us! The views are tremendous and the waitstaff was wonderful. We didn't really know what to order and decided on the fish tacos. No lie...they are the best I have ever had. Don't miss this casual fun place.

Great!. The fish tacos are the best anywhere, crawfish are HUGE! and so are Oysters. Beer is cold and staff is warm.

Bad choice of restaurant. First time to visit this restaurant. The inside dining area had a stinky old smell. Sat outside on the porch with a friend for dinner. The food quality was poor, over priced, and small portions. After leaving the restaurant I found out that I was over charged by $5 for one of the meals. Called the manager next day but she refused to do anything about it! There are plenty of good value meals in Kemah on the other side of the channel, with great atmosphere, service, and food is much better. I will stay away from this restaurant.

Avoid like the plague. I've eatin here three or four times, mainly just went to meet friends...was never my first choice. Food ok but definitely nothing to brag about and the service was poor everytime. Had to flag down the waiter/waitress anytime we needed something...felt like i was in grade school again...having to raise my hand up any time i had a question. I recently called to ask how much the boiled crawfish was and the guy who answered...guessing he was the owner, sounded like an older gentleman...was extremley rude. First of all, it sounded like it was a huge inconvience for him to answer the phone in the first place, then when i asked for the price of the boiled crawfish he cussed at me and hung up the phone. WTF!! I didn't say anything that would've gotten that kind of response from any normal sain person.

too many other good places to eat. Food was mediocre at best; the owner was extremely rude and wait staff was never available.

avoid. IF you find a waitress that isnt interested in telling you her life story or some othe rtale of boredom she may serve you in her own good time. Then the owner will charge you for the ice in your drink when you order something on the rocks. Come on 0.50 for frozen water per drink. Cold food slow service rude staff pass on this place.
