Wonderful eatery!. Fourteen of us ate at this wonderful little restaurant last night. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was good (even with our large group). I also liked the fact the the owner came out and spoke with us and there were obviously many repeat customers. And, they were very accommodating as we celebrated a birthday. With such a large group, we were able to try many different foods, including the yellow curry chicken, crispy duck, chicken noodle soup, BBQ pork, and shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. No-one left disappointed!

Nice Owner, great desert. I took a date there because it looked pretty cozy with the white table cloth and just a small place. The crab was pretty good that was recommended to me. The desert recommended was the sugar free homemade coconut ice cream. The owner(very nice) came by while we were eating desert and explained that his family in Thailand were ice cream makers by trade and not so much Thai food specialist. Great desert and the Houston Chronicle wrote and article on this resturaunt. My date and I were very impressed with this little place beside a liquor store in a shopping strip.

Food's Okay, If You've Got All Day.... Went to Thai Siam for an early dinner on a Saturday...about 6pm. Stopped in because we love Thai food,

and this place was one we had not tried yet. Restaurant is nice on the inside, and the servers were friendly,

but the food was average, and service painfully slow. For appetizers we ordered a soup and some new shrimp

rolls they have on the menu. The shrimp rolls were okay, but the dipping sauce had an odd taste to it. Just

to get the appetizers out took nearly 25 minutes. The Thai Tea was also not as good as I'm used to...a bit too

strong perhaps. Between the four of us, we only ordered two entrees, and that didn't come out until about 40

minutes after we placed the order. The place was not packed, so there's just no real excuse for the food taking

so long to come out. Lastly, even getting a hold of the check to pay and leave was time consuming. Overall,

we've had far better Thai food in Houston, and unless I had time to waste, and I do mean an extended period of

time, two hours or so...I wouldn't suggest going there.

Best Thai food I have EVER tasted!!. Thai Siam is the yummiest place to eat in town! I have experienced other Thai restaurants but none of them compare to Thai Siam. The appetizers, particularly the crab meat cheese rolls are to die for! The house salad with peanut dressing is great and always fresh! The curries are very tasty and the noodle based dishes, (particularly the pad kee mao) are amazing! The service is wonderful, everyone is so nice and willing to help. The owner, John is great! He is the epidemy of customer service and aims to please everyone. I have never had a bad experience here and I know I never will. And for dessert, the coconut ice cream is SO yummy, and made fresh in the kitchen! The staff of Thai Siam are always so warm and friendly, it is always so nice to dine in! Thai Siam is highly recommended!!

Great Thai place!!!. I enjoy Thai, but have found it better, if you find someone who can cook it for real. I was impress to find this spot. Nice place to sit, eat, drink and have good conversation. The Owner took the time out to speak to me, which I was a nice surprise, the servers where very helpful in helping me decide what to try. If you love Thai food, you should definitely try the place out and see why.

BEST Thai food anywhere!. From New York to Chicago to Los Angeles to San Francisco (and all the places between), you will not find better Thai food than at Thai Siam. As an Asian American foodie who has sampled Thai food around the world (including throughout Thailand!) and is constantly disappointed by all the watered-down, "Americanized" versions of ethnic flavors, I was floored to discover a place so close to home that serves such amazing food.

From my first visit, I found out why the food at Thai Siam rocks:

1. The owner/chef, John, is Thai (with a dash of Filipino); and he really cares about his food.

2. He's constantly on premise, making sure everything that comes out of the kitchen is up to par.

3. They make everything to order, from scratch, and with fresh ingredients.

4. John takes the time to come out and talk to guests to chat and get their feedback.

Unfortunately, when it's slammed, service does suffer; but that's the problem at any popular mom&pop restaurant. (If you know anyone who needs a job, Thai Siam needs more servers!)

Thai Siam is renowned among Houston restaurateurs for having the most rave reviews from local food critics (especially from the Houston Chronicle). If you love Thai food, you should definitely try the place out and see why. And don't miss the homemade coconut ice cream!

Editorial Review. Intimate and unassuming, this Thai eatery serves authentic cuisine, including Pad Thai, spring rolls, crab rolls and several spicy curries.

THE BEST THAI FOOD. I've been to thaiLand and this is the most authentic thai food Houston has to offer. I love going to this restaurant because not only is the food amazing the service is incomparable as well. Their lunch menu is not only affordable, it's beyond delicious!

Every single person I've brought to them have agreed with me hands down, that it's heaven. I've gotten all my friends addicted to their thai tea and cheese rolls.

If you want unforgettable dinner dates, this is the place to

*_* a great find!

Hope to see you there.
