You haven't had BBQ 'til you've put some Texas Gourmet to it. As a country boy out of Mississippi I pride myself on knowing good BBQ. I just recently had undoubtedly the best ribs of my life!!!

I usually take the time to create my own sauce for my BBQ because I don't want the general store brand to take away from my grilling skills, but this time I used some Brazos River BBQ sauce from Texas Gourmet. Those ribs came off the grill smoking, but I had no idea the real kick would be in the first bite; the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and a little kickass spice.

I can't wait to try the sauce, along with a few other items from Texas Gourmet, at my next big BBQ. Texas Gourmet you have made a new friend indeed! Hats off to Bryan!

Best ribs ever!!!. I recently cooked ribs for friends and family. Normally I have to gather up a bunch of ingredients to create my rub.

As I was going through the pantry to find what I needed I came across a bottle of "Sweet Chipotle Season-All" from the Texas Gourmet so I decided to mix it with brown sugar to see how it would be as a rub. WOW! and Outstanding! were some of the comments people had for my ribs. I will be using"Sweet Chipotle Season-All" as my rib rub from now on. Many thanks Bryan for an incredibly wonderful product!!! It is also terrific on rib-eyes.

Great reviews for the Texas Gourmet. I just did a BBQ for the FishingTx com group and besides the Brisket, Ribs and Chicken I fixed some of Bryans new potatoes with the Riverbed Steak Seasonings and fresh Rosemary finely chopped and they were a hit. I also did a pork loin with the sugar spice rub and it too was a hit. I also did his Japaleno Kiwi jelly on Cream Cheese and it was also a hit.

I appreciate all the help Bryan (The Texas Gourmet) has given me and I also want to thank him for cooking with me at the HLSR BBQ this year. I hope we get to cook together again.

Thanks Bryan

Texas BBQ. After meeting Bryan Slaven, The Texas Gourmet, and being introduced to his product line, we took the time to modify some of our recipes and include some of Bryan's products. By doing so, we were able to come up with some fantastic new recipes that helped us both in competition and catering. We have been competing since 1987 professionally in the Barbecue circuit, and with the addition of The Texas Gourmet products, we have been able to win more consistently than before. So those of you out there looking to kick up or spice up your old recipes, turn to the Texas Gourmet because they are a proven product with sweet meat barbecue of Texas.

Great flavors and great service!. Ronn who works with the Texas Gourmet could not have been more helpful in my selection of gifts for friends and family. He even had more order ready a day early!

I love the helpful recipes on the website and there are some that I can't wait to try. All the flavors really can take something ordinary and really make it come alive.

Thanks!

Sugar-Cured Feral Ham Recipe. I've been using this recipe for years and last weekend I cook the hams on a pig that a shot on a Hill Country Ranch. I was officially declared a Hero!

I believe the hunting club members now appreciate fresh pork as much as they do venison! Thanks again for a wonderful recipe!!

Thanks for the good report. I love to hear about people using my recipes, especially wild game. Feral hogs are great table fare, they just take a little extra time for prepping. Way to go Mr. Peters.

Love cooking with the Texas Goumet. Brian coached me on how to inject a brisket and cook it up. My cookout was a huge success. The ribs were to die for. Go to his website and follow the instructions, don't be shy and add a little more garlic.
