Treated Like Royalty at Royal Oaks Location. The host who I think was one of the chefs went out of his way to seat us in the perfect spot because we had an infant with us. The waiter was very attentive and the food was served quickly.

My friend and I had a mild Lobster Bisque which is seasonal. It was not too buttery and not too creamy. It was served with saltines which I don't think is a good choice for a Lobster dish.

The lunch servings are perfectly proportioned. We had the Santa Fe Grilled Fish Taco which was served with a small side of saffron-colored Rice Pilaf.

They also have a happy hour on Mondays-Fridays, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Rockfish is a Texas-based restaurant company with the majority of their locations based in Dallas. They have three locations in Houston.

Great seafood place. I visit often Rockfish to have their Gumbo and the delicious pecan trout! Try it next time.

I also love the shrimp cocktail, I just wish they had more locations so I dont have to drive so far!

Great Little Seafood Place. This place is pretty rockin. This place is an affordable and tasty little seafood bistro. The food here is exceptional, especially there soups. I would recommend trying the Creamy Jalapeno Bisque, it is excellent. The menu contains all sorts of seafood dishes including things such as fish tacos and seafood enchilades, as well as the standard seafood dishes. I personally think that they have just about the best fish tacos that I have ever had and they come with an excellent ancho chile sauce. The service is always attentive, and pretty fast. I enjoy the decor here as its sort of an abtract take on retro theme. Its not a place for a late dinner as they close relatively early.

Who doesn't love the darling of Texas seafood chains? The food is so popular, they offer takeout by the quart.. In Short
Pictures of fish highlight the cabin motif, but sleek metal barstools and touches of neon temper the feel. Daily chalkboard specials cater to both surfers and turfers. Mexican shrimp martinis dangle shrimp cocktail in salsa, and pecan trout sizzles under honey lemon butter. Melted gouda spinach dip whets the appetite. Pot roast, skinny onion rings, and Key lime pie satisfy it.

Very impressed!!. the biggest thing that impressed me about Rockfish was that despite being quite crowded, I did not have to yell at my date across the table. It has a very quiet, quaint atmosphere and great food for the price. Service was slow at times but not bad and the menu is not as extensive as I expected (no Lobster) but the Cajun shrimp pasta was fantastic. I will definitely go back!

Casual but pleasing. It is a nice looking place from the exterior. The peanuts were a good way to pass the time as my party waited for an available table. The service was good and atmosphere was relaxed.

Unique items, relaxing atmosphere. Stopped by for the first time yesterday not kowing what to expect. The menu offered plenty of variety, things you would expect from a seafood grill and some exciting variations that tempted you to try something new.

The gumbo was loaded with shrimp and a nice smokey flavor. A real plus, the shrimp had not been boiled all day long.

Alberto's Seafood Enchiladas were excellent. Filled with shimp. scallops and mushrooms swimming in a very "rich" cream sauce. Excellent.

The service was good and the atmosphere while fun and highlighted by a juke box that you are encourage to play thanks to complementary tokens. Yet they have managed to keep that in the background enough that it never seemed noisy.

Give it a try!

Great catch!. Excellent food - they don't fry everything! - good variety. Fabulous "rock-a-ritas" and average drink prices. Helpful & courteous staff; great ambiance, no matter where you sit. Food prices are lower than expected for this quality. HIGHLY recommend Rockfish Grill.
