“felt that I was taken advantage of and the service was very poor and the staff were very rude.”
Over priced. I have been going for many years and just stopped due to the price. The guy owner is very rude and makes you feel uncomfortable. They use to be great but have now increased their price and lack in service.
Gone downhill over priced!. I am going to agree this salon has gone downhill and their prices are ridiculous! I use to go to Vicki to get my nails done and stopped going for about a year. I then decided to get nails put back on last week. Vicki was out of town and her husband was busy so they let this young guy do them. OMG! My nails were so thick, square and they began to peel immediately! They also had a yellow tint. I called three days later and asked for Vicki she was still out of town but her husband said he would take a look at my nails since I was so happy. he seemed very rude so I decided to just go to the place where I have my pedicures 4 Seasons Nails in League City. My nails are perfect now and I did not have to pay an arm and a leg! I will not go back to this salon ever!!!!!
Great Place. @ Seabrookgal sorry to hear about your experience. I have been an off and on customer at Vogue Pro Nails since 2006. Due to the impacts of the economy VPN prices has gone up at least by $5. There was a time in which I had got a medicure and pedicure and my bill totaled $60 or near $70. Yes my mouth hit the floor. Despite all of that VPN is a great place. They take their time with you; no rushed service. I have never had a nail break or chip. My nails always looked fabolous. At this place you pay for what you get. If you want cheap nails and a rushed service go to places such as wal-mart or something. I am going over to get my nails done their today.
Not sure this time.... I had used Vogue Pro Nails for quite some time in the past and was very pleased. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, I could not get my nails done nor have pedicures during chemo. I went back a few weeks ago - after I finished chemo - to have my nails done and have a pedicure. I was so excited to be able to do this because I knew it would make me feel good about my nails and toes. My toes needed a refill due to chemo effects. I noticed that things seemed different after 6 months and I had a feeling of being out of sorts...uncomfortable. I was cut a few times during my nail session (not good). During my pedicure, the guy doing it could not understand English and was very rude. I felt really uncomfortable at this time. When I went to pay my bill, I was told that the amount due was $125. I was charged $78 for the pedicure. This was a no-frills pedicure. (Sorry, this is not River Oaks and they do not even charge that much...I work off of San Felipe.) I could not believe it but I paid my bill and left a tip and told myself I would never go back there again. I felt that I was taken advantage of and the service was very poor and the staff were very rude. I will not go back to this place again and my friends are very upset due to my situation and they are not going to go back as well.
Best nails in Houston!. I've been going to Vogue pro nails every since my sister in law told me about NGUYEN. He does amazing work and my nails have never looked so good. I know how important it is to do your best work because I'm a stylist who works in River Oaks and understands quality work. Funny thing is He has many stylist as clients. That speaks volumes to me (since stylist are know to be so picky). So if your looking for the best HE'S YOUR MAN. If your in the market for a great pedicurist Jason is Amazing!
