I had a bad feeling before I ever went into the building. I had to cancel an appointment I had made months ago. But I really needed to go to a dermatologist, so I made another appointment for last week. For some reason I was uneasy about this, but I didn't know of any other dermatologist, so I went ahead with it. Perhaps my uneasiness came from the fact that I knew he had his own line of skincare and I thought he would push all of his products on me. As my mother says, always trust your first instinct! Upon entering the building, you are greeted in the waiting room with a looped reel infomercial of Dr Moore and how wonderful he and his product are. I should have turned around then and there! Instead I waited 45 minutes to be taken to the back room, where Dr Moore graced me with his presence for a whole THIRTY SECONDS!! Trust me when I say I am not lying! He comes in the room, says 'what's wrong" I tell him that I have been having a problem with breakouts, and he starts to mutter something to his assistant about prescribing me this thing and that thing from HIS line (of course). Then he abruptly turns and walks out! I never had a chance to ask him the other two questions that I was there for!!! When I told this to his assistant, I was told Dr Moore is a busy man! I would NEVER recommend him to anyone, unless you just want to give your money away! In addition to my co-pay of $30 ($1 for each second he spent with me), I was told I needed to pay another $75 dollars for HIS product and another $65 to return for a facial. Now I will admit, the man is a genius and is making hand over fist by supplying everything in his office, but can I please just be properly diagnosed and have at least another 30 seconds so I can finish telling you what I am visiting your office for!?!?! Honestly, find another dermatologist! I am out of my co-pay and still have to find someone else to go to. Would give ZERO stars if I could. Hope he enjoys pimping his customers!
