I have nothing but admiration for this man. Thanks to him being a kind, caring person many animals have been saved by him turning them over to the Houston SPCA. Goddess bless Judge Dale Gorczynski!

I agree, LAZY. I wish I could rate him lower than 1 star. He is horrible and incompetent. I sat there and watched him give each case less than 2mins of review and make judgement. I had a more complicated case with evidence that would actually require thought, not so much open and shut. He was arrogant. I spent months preparing my case he wouldn't even look at all my paperwork. He told me to have a seat I watched him glance at each paper, that he would let me give him, no real concern or courtesy to actually read them. He acted like he just wanted to clear the courtroom as fast as possible. The part that really upset me is he motioned the police officer to stand beside me when he told me I had lost. He didn't do that to anybody else. I'm a young black woman, does that automatically mean I'm gonna act a fool because I lost? Sure I put hours on top of hours into preparing my case and he seemed to not even comprehend any of it because of how lazy he was. But that didn't mean I was gonna act crazy. He didn't look at me when he passed judgement. He motioned the officer to tell me I would receive a letter in a couple of weeks. Through his ignorance I still said thank you and left. Time for that lazy ass man to retire. Worst $100 i ever spent.

ONE LAZY JUDGE. This is one very lazy judge. He should spend less time eating-he looks like JABBA the Hut from Star Wars and he had spilled food on his clothes when we were before him on a civil case. He makes smart alecky comments and quips about people and cannot make a decision to save his soul. My attorney said he had no business on the bench. Luckily we won the appeal in higher court.

This judge should be limited to performing weddings.. I had a bad experience at this judge's court. I found him to be eager to make sarcastic comments and insult everyone around him. His employees are totally "yes" boys; bullies often have to surround themselves with those that agree with everything.

The result of my case was that no decision was made (which I have since found out is very customary for this judge).

What a waste.

Towing Court. Towing Court hearing. Ticket was written by Metro Police, but notice was sent to HPD. A court employee presided over hearing rather than Judge G. Employee granted Metro Police a continuance even though all the other parties were present.

What a waste of time and money. I was so disappointed in what I saw and heard in Dale Gorczynski's court room the day I accompied my friend to small claims court. In my opinion, Dale Gorczynski did not do a fair review of the case at hand. At one point I even thought he was chauvanistic towards my friend. She would not have taken the Court's time nor her time and money if this situation was not so important to her. She was depending on the Court to find a fair and equitable resolve to her case. I did not think my friend got her day in court with a 15 minute review of her case. What good is this court if in fact the public actually needs legal representation for any small claims review?

The Proxy-Wedding JP. Judge Gorczynski has done so many proxy weddings, he qualifies as an expert in this type of matrimonial process. I've attended several proxy ceremonies he has performed, and each time he has conducted a dignified ceremony yet managed to maintain the kind of flexibility required when operating in what are inevitably unique circumstances. I recommend him to anyone contemplating a proxy wedding ceremony in Houston.

LOVED him!. Judge Gorczynski was incredible... he married my husband and I in 2001. We were nervous wrecks, our entire family shoved in his office, and he did his best to get us relaxed. He and my mother even cracked a few jokes to ease the mood (at my expense, I was 6 months pregnant!!) for us. All in all, he was very nice and helpful.

wHO IS IN CHARGE OF THIS INSANE ASYLUM?. First of all, this judge is splitting image for Jabba the Hutt. Slob does not go near enough in describing him and the way he manages his court. You have to be a lunatic and/or an imbecile to work for him. Everyone who works here is clueless and braindead.

Totally Incompetent Court. I HAD TO WAIT 5 HOURS FOR MY CASE TO BE SET FOR HEARING. The court personnel lost my paperwork, it took them 4 months to refind it. When iI called for information, I was put on hold for 22 minutes once and 17 minutes the second time. The clerks are not able to answer the most basic questions. The judge when he showed up 45 minutes late did not apologize and food stains on his robe. This is court to avoid at all costs,
