Good food, nice people

by Pink Pearl at Citysearch

Don't know where those guys went where they got such bad service 'cause it wasn't Kojak's. The food is good, everything is fresh, and the staff is nice.

  • Pros: Great, fresh spinach pies, cookies, and brownies
  • Cons: ambiance could be "warmer"

Excellent food

by lalka at Citysearch

LIving within a few blocks, I've been here several times and always had excellent food and service. I only wish the ambience was better and they hadn't removed the wall of wine bottles which was very pretty. The chicken enchiladas are superb, and the Mediterranean plate very tasty. And the pastries are excellent.

  • Pros: Food
  • Cons: decor

KOJAKS Deli and Fine Foods a great place for Reasonable tasty dinners too.

by island101 at Citysearch

Kojacks is a great choice for sandwiches and plate specials for lunch and they serve a

great selection of dinner entrees until 8PM M-F. They also have breakfast. Mark and

Katherine are your hosts and the staff is willing to make modifications and substitutions.

People think it is Greek but it is a fine cafe and very worthwhile.

My favorites are the shrimp and crab cakes, tilapia, mexican enchilada with chicken and

a cheese you would not expect to find. Pastas, Roasted Chicken and all Chicken entrees

are very good.

One of the top lunch choices is grilled chicken club you can pay to add avocado, the mozzerella

cheese is melted with bacon lettuce and tomato. I like Chicken salad and all are good.

They some Greek Humas and other healty choices and a wide selection of beverages. Wine and

beer are available, check if you can bring your own for set ups.

They are baking in house PITA CHIPS and other choices of cakes cookies and breakfast /coffee cakes.

The reviewer above sounds like a tough customer who is trying to get something additional nothing or

very demanding.

At dinner they serve your plate, lunch you usually pick up yourself with an electronic signal.

As of this writing kids eat free on Friday nights. An Undiscovered gem of place for dinner.

  • Pros:  Culinary Food at reasonable prices.
