“Very snooty (and for no reason) and not a good selection.”
“Little Patooties is a great place for unique kid's fashion!”
“Very helpful & friendly service.”
VERY DISAPPOINTED. Originally from Austin, and often shopping in boutiques there and online, I stopped by Little Patooties for the first (and only) time. I was pretty excited to go to a boutique that I had never been to before...such a shame. When I walked in pushing my daughter in her stroller hoping that she will fall back into her nap because I just woke her up, the owner looked us up and down and pointed out the salerack right away. I was dressed in Juicy Couture, decked out in Gucci, I didn't really care for the salerack and could've bought her entire store out with the cash in my wallet. The owner had a friend there helping her who would not stop showing me the items she bought her daughter and was going on about how cute they were (and they weren't..poor child..they were also WAY too large for my 10 month old compared to her 2 and 3 year old) instead of asking me what types of things I preferred. Then to top it off, even after constantly telling the workers that my daughter had just been woken up and was very sleepy to get them AWAY from us, one of them hovered over the stroller with her face in it, trying to wake her up further, scared the baby, so of course the she starts wailing. If I had been out of it from waking up and saw that, I'd be scared too. But to my surprise, the 'friend helping out' is still going on about some outfit that I didn't really even care for, even as I'm walking away trying to comfort my daughter. I was looking for sizes 12-18 month, or maybe 18-24 at the most or 2T for later, but I was constantly shown sizes in 4T's. Even for a boutique, it was pricey and not worth it. And even as a fashion design major, I thought some of the 'probably' couture pieces, were not well made. Just because something is handmade, doesn't mean that it's WELL made, and worth marking up to $160 for a vest. If they were beautiful well made garments, I would've happily paid the price. Very snooty (and for no reason) and not a good selection. Even when I was looking at hairpins, I couldn't look alone, and when another customer walked in, they were like vultures flocking to food. Seriously?? Do you really think we want to steal your ugly things? Wow. No thank you. I was not greeted goodbye after my purchase, AND my little girl was ignored while waving goodbye (she was waving for a good while). I would not recommend it and will stick to my Austin boutiques. I have many friends in Houston who shop boutiques and are pregnant and I will tell them that it is not worth their time or money.
Absolutely the Cutest!. My sister bought me a gift certificate from here for my baby shower and they have the most adorable and unique items here. It's nice to have some special pieces that you know you won't see everywhere you go. I get so many compliments when I take my daughter out.
Unique!. This place has the best children's clothes in Houston! Unique, hard to find items. Very helpful & friendly service.
Great childrens boutique. Great store with unique designs you won't find at the big box stores. Hard to find places like this anymore!! Keep up the good work.
Excellent service!. Little Patooties is a great place for unique kid's fashion! If your looking for a special occasion dress this is the place to shop. They were very helpful!
Should be named "pasnooties". The saleswoman was so snooty, not helpful, and outright rude.
