I had a great experience at this medical spa. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained to me in detail about how my laser hair removal treatment works and what to expect. The laser technician made me feel very comfortable during my treatment. I highly recommend this place!
TEN INCHES!!!. 10 inches off waist, hips, thighs, arms and neck with 9 Zerona treatments and the very nicest staff you could want. 10 inches! 10 INCHES!!
Had great results!. I received a package for Zerona for 6 treatments as a gift and saw results after treatment number 4. I bought an additional 6 treatments for optimal results and could not be happier. I followed the instructions to a T and benefited from it. I lost 2 pant sizes and lost an overall of 17+ inches on waist, hips, and thighs. Friendly staff and I was never kept waiting.

As a client of Med-cure for nearly a year now, this is an awesome place for any services desired. For those who have given them a bad review, there are probably more underlying issues than a trip to the spa would 'cure'; look deeper within.
Everyone there (staff) is always kind and knowledgeable of the services offered. And it's always 'a good time'.
Yes, they sometimes get busy, but the world doesn't revolve around oneself, and it's rude of those who feel they are entitled for it to do so. They should name a spa "Entitled" for those people! haha, I bet they would go too.
I would highly recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for a professional environment, and a knowledgable doctor who knows what's best for his clients and looks forward to enjoying their time at the spa.
Don't Waste your Time. Purchased Hydrofacial certificate thru Living Social. Called to inquire on least busy day as would be a lunch appt., informed me Thursday. Checked in at front desk and reminded I was on lunch hr. Checked again after 20 min., front desk said they were "so busy". Checked again after 30 minutes, still "so busy". Very unprofessional atmosphere. Left. Don't trust them w/your face.
Do Not Go Here - Horrible Experience. I too purchased the Living Social hydra facial for $70 during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the most ill spent $70 bucks spent ever. I would of rather bought Dr. Scholl's inserts with $50 left for a new Target doormat, tax included! The front door girl was so gracious as to leave me familiarizing myself with their brochures for 45-50 minutes while the owner's family trolloped through the "clinic" touring the place with their family & friends. There was no one else there in that lobby Saturday morning at 10 am...what the heck was I waiting for?!! There were many warning signs of course, but, they're in a great area, the decor was more than decent AND I spent my hard earned $$$ and reluctant to throw it down the drain. My brief time with my aesthetician was lack luster, with creams applied to my face with no particular expertise. While she was sweet, by no means did this compare to any other facials I have received in the past. I love going to the tried & trues and open to finding the new to go spas. This deal however, left me feeling jipped!!!
Waste of time and money! They use sneaky tricks!. I purchased two fat-burning laser treatments from Living Social. When I went to the consultation about "Zerona," I was told that I should buy 4 more sessions as it usually takes 6 sessions to see results. Against my better judgment, I agreed. I should have known that only exercise and diet will actually provide one with real results. Like an idiot, I gave them another $400 of my money and of course they had some pills that needed to be taken to 'maximize' results. During this 2-week process, I followed all the directions, quit drinking, ate healthy, and even started exercising - hoping I would see some results. Then I was told to wait a week, finish the pills, and come back for my final measurements to compare to the measurements taken before the sessions. I measured my waist that morning with a tape measure and got 31", but that afternoon one of the ladies measured my waist to be 28". I told her it was impossible to have lost 3" in 8 hours, and what kind of measuring tape was she using. She stated it was a "female" measuring tape. I insisted that she use a regular measuring tape and start over. I did lose a half-inch in a few places, but that was probably due to my efforts. Then they actually tried to sell me more, stating that one usually needs 12 sessions to see results. I told Med Cure they would never receive another penny of my money. I hope no one else makes the same mistake. What a joke! Don't waste your time or money!
Worst spa experience of my life. I purchased a microdermabrasion through Living Social. After filling out my paperwork and signing papers that talk about all the things that could go wrong with this treatment, I was taken to a room to change into a bathrobe. While I don't want anyone walking in on me, she didn't return until 10 minutes later. She asked if I wanted to wash my face or if I wanted her to wash my face. I said it didn't matter but found it strange that I was even being asked. I guess she figured that out and went ahead and washed my face. Next she applied a mask. When she was done she said to wait for 10 minutes and then she would remove it. I glanced at my watch and it was 2:15 when she left. While I was waiting I heard all sorts of noise in the hall and the rooms around me, mostly people laughing and talking and phone ringing. After ten minutes, she didn't return. I looked at my watch again and it was 2:35, then 2:45, then 2:50 and still no return. At 2:55, I got up, washed the mask off myself, and got dressed. I walked out of the room to discover my aesthetician working the front desk. She gave me a confused look and I said, "I'm leaving now. I don't feel comfortable with you doing this procedure." Then she gasped and said, "The mask, I'm sorry." So, she had forgotten about me. I didn't stick around to complain because I was so angry. I just wanted to get out of there. When I got home I emailed Juanie Herrera, the general manager, explaining what happened and asking her to fix this. It has been over two weeks and she hasn't responded. Thankfully I contacted Living Social too and they credited my account. DO NOT go to this "spa." I go to a spa about once a month and have never had such a poor experience. I will never return and will tell as many people as possible about this terrible experience. Was this really their goal when they posted the living social deal?
What a ripoff. Unprofessional staff, not a "spa". I bought the LivingSocial deal for $49 x 6 Zerona sessions. My first appointment was a "consultation." I've been to consultations at other health care facilities that charge the thousands of $s for Zerona-like procedures - they usually start with sitting down to discuss problem areas and what you'd like fixed. First things first for Med-Cure, height, weight, body fat %, and measurements, and out the door! No discussion whatsoever. Only 3 of the 10 measurements were taken (bust, waist, hips). When I asked why the other measurements were not taken (such as thighs, knees, arms, neck, etc.), the response was "well, people usually only get their core treated" - this is before I was asked what area I wanted to have treated! I also asked if there was a diet or fitness regimen I needed to follow - the response was to eat healthy and exercise and "oh yeah, you should take niacin." I know I *only* paid $300 for 6 procedures, but the unprofessional staff that did not know how to place the Zerona machine over my body made me 100% sure I will NOT be coming back for any type of procedure. They hired several new people during my 2 weeks of appointments, and the new people were placing the Zerona machine over my body (incorrectly) on Day 1 with barely any training!! This was a great opportunity for Med-Cure to gain new business by impressing potential future clients with their professional staff and product offerings, but I give them two big thumbs down. Will not go back for any service, even if it's free.
Thermage here gave amazing results!.
I had gotten Thermage elsewhere and disappointed in results and had a consult with Rozy at the Galleria location, she showed me her photos and took plenty of time to explain her technique. I went ahead and did the treatment and all I can say is "Wow"! Thermage gave me an instant face lift and the results get better over time.
Staff was so caring and patient, I had 2 glasses of wine, crackers and they spent as much time as needed to do the job right. I love this place!
