Great steak, da bomb A. I've never had their Chicken Fried Steak but if its as good as the BEEF STEAKS, reviewers here are crazy. Best NY Strip I've ever eaten, yummm

Great food & service!. We are always treated great when we go here, it's a great atmosphere. The food is always cooked perfectly and tastes delicious.

Salt Grass STEAK House.....Steak House!. I must say if you want CHICKEN fried steak go somewhere else. But if you go there for a Fire grilled steak..... your home! Absolutely the best steaks in the business. Cooked and seasoned to perfection! Service and staff are excellent. We always leave this restaurant satisfied.

A GREAT Truly TEXAS Place!.
Everytime we visit relatives in the Houston area, our one request/question is "When are we going to Salt Grass!?!?!" The wait staff is excellent; the attention to customers is far above average; the food is wonderful - no matter what we've ordered! What more can we say???
Go there.....try Salt Grass for yourself!

The perfect end to a day or start of eve. Dinner at the bar is a great experience, service is uptown with bartenders with big smiles and friendly words. Drink are above ordinary and service is prompt! The perfect way to end a day...or start and evening!

Get your facts straight.
They do take reservations, but they are for the weekday only. During the weekend they take call ahead seating(this is a must, if you don't want to wait). This resturant goes out of its way to make you feel at home. They open the door whan you come in the restuarant and when you leave. They even escourt you to the restroom. They don't hesitate to help you.
If you arelooking for some romance sit in the front patio. Everywhere else is to busy and or bright.

HORRIBLE!!!!. This place has the worst chicken fried steak in Houston. Cannot believe that people actually go here to eat. One server was doing a bad rendition of beastie boys at the servers tea station, quite loudly to say the least. Typical chain dining!!!
