New Owners, refurbished, antiques--beautiful. These owners have taken over this beautiful wedding/B&B/reunion facility.

They refurbished the house, coach house, pavilion, grounds, etc. There's plenty of parking . . .surrounded by country acreage and trees, lovely pond with gazebos, swing. The owners are great event planners.

We recently filmed a short film there and loved the whole experience. They are very accommodating.

The wedding was wonderful!!. My son and daughter-in-law were looking for a wedding venue that was elegant, yet affordable, and they found it here. Debbie was great to work with. Everything was exactly as we were told. The food was plentiful and delicious, the lighting for the evening wedding was great, the facility was everything we had hoped for and more. There were many different places for photo opportunities that were unexpected, from a lake to a pool table to an old truck. I don't know what was up with the negative review from melissa?? unless she was just a mean spirited sort who would not be satisfied with anything, because we had nothing but the absolute best experience, more than we expected, and cannot say enough about the venue and the staff. Everything was wonderful!

Dream wedding for my daughter. My daughter, Rhonda had her dream wedding at Shepard Hill Estate. It has been a month and the pictures are back and we all got together last night to look at them. That is why I am here today writing a review because we were so pleased. I am in shock to read the review written by the "disgruntled bride"! Our daughter's wedding could not have gone more smoother and been anymore beautiful then it was. I was a nervous wreck because I wanted everything to be perfect and the owner of Shepard Hill Estate, Ms. Toney made sure that it was....she treated us like family. The facility is breath taking, the flowers were beautiful and the food was out of this world. The reception hall was like walking in to a magical dream and I knew I had made the right decision when my daughter walked in and looked at me with a big smile on her face. Basically, I did not have to do anything except be with Rhonda the week before the wedding and not worry about any of the wedding details because Ms. Toney took care of it all...she is quite the professional. I would recommend Shepard Hill Estate to anyone and in fact I know that some of Rhonda's bridesmaids have already stated they are planning their wedding at Shepard Hill Estate. Ms. Toney I am so sorry that anyone would attack you as the "disgruntled bride" has done, but you can give me as a reference anytime. In fact, that is how we heard about your fantastic venue is fby attending a wedding from one of your former brides.

Absolutly Amazing!. I'm not sure about the review above, but I can say nothing but great things about the owner, staff, and whole set-up. My experience was absolutly amazing, the food was excellent and the flowers were beautiful. It was truely a perfect day. I would recommend this venue to anyone and all.

Avoid this place like the plague. Not a bed and breakfast any longer. Now it is for weddings. This place needs to be shut down immediately. The new owner is a nightmare to deal with. It was problem after problem. This was suppose to be an all inclusive wedding where everything was to be included and it was far from it. From the time we arrived for our rehearsal it was just a brides worst dream come true. The owner broke down crying and yelling at my husband and I during the rehearsal and no decor was arranged or put together. The day of the wedding was just as bad. We planned for 100 people to be there. A little over half showed up. There wasn?t enough food to accommodate the people that were there nor was it even the food we ordered. The owner lost our marriage license and caused our wedding to be an hour and a half late. Then she refused to pay the pastor after the ceremony (even though we already paid her $300 for him) so we had to go around to family members for money so he could leave, and during the ceremony the power cord started over heating and caused power outage. This is just a tip of the ice burg of what happened. I can go on for days. Bottom line, the owners are a fraud and should not be in business.

If you would like references or any proof, let me know. I have pictures along with plenty of other stories from past brides who can back me up that this place should be shut down immediately! Please, whatever you do, DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!!!

Adorable & Just Like Home. Each bedroom is elaborately decorated with a different beautiful theme. Very cozy, set in an idealic country home. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the food/catering is WONDERFUL! Great for hosting events such as luncheons or weddings (there are indoor and outdoor accomodations for ... I'd guess 150 people), and also perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. I am definately planning to visit again soon!
