Lisa Nguyen - Best Facial for Acne Problems. For the past couple of years, my skin has been frustratingly unpredictable in the breakout department. And more often than not, I have found myself shelling out the cash for some new product that promised to attack acne. Finally, I just resigned myself to good ole' cetaphil and said goodbye to expensive line(s) that really had no longterm effect on the health or appearance of my skin.

Lisa Nguyen's facial treatments have not only cleared my breakouts but have also treated other issues - skin discoloration, dehydration, etc. Each of her treatments is uniquely tailored for what my skin is doing on that day. For me, her treatments usually start with extractions, which I have found absolutely key to having consistently clearer skin. Although a little painful, Lisa extracts and applies medicine so that the face does not scar and heals quickly. She will then often move to an enzyme peel or eye moisturizing treatment; again, whatever your skin needs.

I have always been a little suspicious of how useful facials really are. I had never seen long-term results like I do now with Lisa. I will warn that you need to be patient and committed. Depending on your situation, Lisa knows exactly how to address it. And, I'm sorry to say, in my experience, a dermatologist does not. Lisa's treatments do not try to dry breakouts out; she treats the skin from within.

I recommend going at least once a month, maybe every three weeks in the beginning. I still do this to attack potential breakouts.

All in all, if you've been frustrated by acne, Lisa can help. She knows her stuff!

Excellent Customer Service. A good friend of mine recommend me to go to Lisa for Brazilian Wax and I must say I was very satisfied. It was my first encounter in this kind of appointment and Lisa was very patient with me and made me feel very comfortably. She provided a nice , clean calm environment with privacy.

I was very satisfied with her work and her gentle product I made a facial appointment as well that same week. It was the best facial I have had. My face was very clean and smooth and her products were very gentle on my face and did the job! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lisa for all your pampering needs Ladies! ENJOY!

Best wax artist in Houston. Ladies in Houston, if you are in the market for a brazilian wax (or any other kind), go to the Village spa and ask for Lisa. I promise, you'll not be disappointed. I've sent quite of few of my gal pals to her and they all love her and still go to her. I've been a faithful client of Lisa since moving back to Houston in 2007. I've also had the pleasure of working with Lisa so I can reassure you of her professional manner. I've seen other clients of her's after receving a facial (another one of lisa's specialties) and they come out singing praises.

I know we are all concerned with cleanliness when it comes to waxing (we should be) and let me tell you...Lisa does not double dip. She also doesn't use low budget products that we have all tried at some point to do our own at-home waxes! Lisa has a myriad of products for whatever your skin concern may be. Listen ladies, I can go on and on singing praises but you just need to go to her! Lisa is by far the best and that is no BS!

Great hair removal services!. Lisa does a great job of catering to her customers. Her waxing is less painful than other places I've been too and she's very professional. She also uses good practices to promote sanitary removal and charges a pretty competitive price. She usually gives a complimentary discount on something that you're doing for the first time or to first-time customers. Never had her do a facial, but she offers that too. I would recommend her to nervous first timers.

Excellent Experience!. Back in Houston after a dozen years and decided to try Village La Salon. Recommended by friends and relatives. I am thrilled to have found a place that I am 100% comfortable with. As I was a year past due in managing my hair, trust me, I was a mess! I really didn't know what I wanted and Mauri was extremely friendly and spent time wanting to know what I wanted. I did not feel rushed. Mauri recommended a "fresher cut" for me and she literally transformed me! I went from looking old and haggard to (I must say modestly) looking younger and definitely had a fresher look. My color is fantastic and highlights superb!!! Relax in a nice atmosphere, enjoy a cup of coffee and check out current magazines (Many places have outdated publications). I highly recommend this place. I know it will be my source to beautiful hair! THANK YOU Village La Salon!!!

Great Place for highlights, coffee, facial, relaxing. I followed my hairdressers to Village La Salon and was very happy to meet Mauri whose shop is a very clean quiet hideout to where I can escape and give myself a treat once a month! Liz is the most talented color specialist and hair designer, and Bibi is right along beside her and can hold her own! I would never go anywhere else and the prices are right!

No real 'Special'. I called up this salon because I thought they had a special for Tues and Wed. It seems like this special is only for first time visitors on their first visit ONLY. In anycase, this by no means is an affordable salon. Even with their first time customer special, the lady quoted me $30 for haircut w/ shampoo and then 25$ for blowdry!!! This comes out to $55 for what they call a 'special'.
