Portions are small!!!

I guess I may be spoiled since i usually have plenty of leftovers when I visit chinese restaurants but man, Taipei's portions are small. It was like getting frozen dinner size portions. (I usually eat 2 to get full) Food taste was average and service is good. You still end up paying $12 - $15 per plate but I would rather take my money elsewhere based on what u get for your $$$.

1 step above Horrible

I ordered the chicken fried rice and general tso's chicken the rice was good not the best I have ever hard but not the worst either... Tthe tso chicken was tough like it was last weeks left overs refried I ate 4 maybe 5 pieces and tossed the rest the fortune cookies were excellent as you would expect from an asian place. the delivery service was prompt less than 25 minutes from the time I hung up but when it was delivered to me at my hotel room there was no forks or chop sticks ( I requested them) so I went to the hotel eatery to get some plastic forks and napkins I would not suggest this place to anyone there over priced & over cooked but hey they do have a prompt delivery service

I give them a 9 out of 10 ( 1=awesome 10= never had worse )

AWESOME Chinese FAST Delivery

This was the best Chinese I have ever had delivered. Had to pull the ole "unbutton the top button!' Good price, fast delivery, good quantity and quality. A+ Favorite new place in the Woodlands! Egg Rolls a perfect ten :)

You can't beat the price on their half-price lunch menu!

My husband and I like to eat at the Taipei China Bistro between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm as you can choose from a good selection of Chinese American lunch items for half-price. There aren't many places where you can get a decent meal for $4.25 a plate! I like their hot Jasmine tea, too.

• Pros: Great value and good taste for the money on their half-price lunch selections.
• Cons: Portion sizes are adequate but not huge.

Great Chinese from San Antonio

My wife and I moved here from San Antonio about two years ago. Our favorite restaurants were Formosa Garden and Taipei. We were so excited to find that they had opened a new place here in The Woodlands. We order take out way too much from here but it is always very good. Dining in is the best experience with solid service and a good atmosphere.

• Pros: general Tso's Chicken, Dumplings
• Cons: egg drop soup
