“recently stopped in with some friends on a sunday afternoon drinking really good imported beer in large glasses for two bucks and change!”
“Love the waitresses, but the servie was slow because the bar was really crowded.”
everybody knows my name. All it took was one visit, and everybody knows my name, and they know what I drink, and my beer is cold and waiting for me when I come back. I dunno who used the word "snooty" but I suspect it probably only applies if you go in with an attitude of superiority yourelf. Great staff, great selection, and great food. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
The Ale House has been reborn. Now that the Ale House is demolished and gone the Stags Head makes a great replacement! Great import beer selection with a mix of British and Irish foods. The Irish band playing last weekend (in July) rocked the place. Fills up in the back by the dart boards pretty quick eventhough it may look empty from the street. The mini patio out front is great especially on the cool/less humid days they open the front room doors. A must check out!
Nice Place. I like the Stag's Head...been several times. They have a nice selection of beers and one of my favorite wines, Murphy Goode Chardonnay. Our favorite time to visit is early on a Saturday afternoon or late on a Sunday evening. Really enjoy the barman, Gordon. Friendly fellow.
I'll be back !.
good selection of beer
interesting crowd, good mix (gender & age)
good hamburgers
easy access to/from Hwy 59
not enough waiter/waitresses
serious darts
