hipsters' paradise. you can barely fit in ricebar some nights but you should try because it's worth it. i feel like a hipster and i fit in jst fine here, lotsa cool pepple and good music. drinks are reasonable and they take credit cards. great place to go!

The tiny cocktail spot adjunct to Liberty Noodles, ricebar, is as hip as its name. Its minimalist style applies to its size (20 people easily cramp the style and capacity) as well as to its decor. Drinkers who appreciate interior design will dig the slate-top bar, the bamboo parasol lighting fixtures and the antique four-poster bed converted into an inspired divan. Ricebar's elegant atmosphere, coupled with the DJ's acid-jazz and house mix, perfectly encapsulates downtown Houston nightlife (in bite-size form).
