Delicious burgers served here. The burgers are full of flavor and its pretty big. Everyone must try it!
Great burger 1/2lb and love the sweet potato fries!!
It gets really crowded at lunch time and the burgers are expensive: Average price is $12 which is high for any sandwich. But if the price does not bother you, then I recommend the food.
they make pretty cool burgers a little pricey, but they are marketing quality ingredients. But i found this place called Big D's Burgers and Wings, it's on 1960, now thats a burger the meat is so perfectly seasoned. There saying is you don't need a bun, and they weren't lying you guys should try them out, and they are cheap
Best Burger in Town – Very simple The Best Burger in Houston
big axx burger – I like the fact that the burgers are big, that;s a given... but they are als really flavorful. The Pappas franchise has everything nailed down they are the best!
Nice server. – Honestly, all burgers taste the same no matter where you go...but I'm not complaining because I love burgers!
Anyway, my boyfriend and I came to Pappas because he was craving a hamburger. We went in and were greeted by the cashier boy. He was nice and a little knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the mushroom burger while my boyfriend ordered the peppercorn swiss burger. We sat at a booth near the window and our server came over. He was a sweet boy and that's probably the only reason we'd ever come back. It wasn't because the food was nasty, it just wasn't that memorable. It was a tad bit greasy (but then again, that's what a burger is!) I'd rather go to Fuddrucker's for a hamburger.
But if you want good service, go here!
Just another burger joint. – Like with everything else in the Pappas empire, Pappas burgers is good, but not great. It's amazing that Pappas has created such an empire on mediocrity. Like I mentioned before in my Pappasitos review, you get that nagging feeling that at Pappas Burgers it's much more about the bottom line than the food.
The meat is a little bland and flavorless, and no matter how you ask it cooked, it's gonna be well done. The veggies are equally flavorless, which is why they compensate with copious amounts of sauces to give them some semblance of taste. The buns are pretty decent, and I have no complaints about them.
My real issue with Pappas is that I don't understand why people would ever go here when there are so many other places you can go in Houston and have a better burger for less money. Convenience, I guess.
hands-down the best burger place – so far the best burger place - usually I do not try the same place due to giving another burger place a chance but this place is soooooo good I could not help myself. Juicy-juicy-juicy patties!!!!
Good – I got a blue cheeseburger cooked medium rare with a heap of thinly cut fries. The patty was all too perfectly formed but the juiciness was still there or being soaked up by the weak bun. It was too messy to really enjoy.
good burgers – i believe their are great hamburgers there are just people who don't care about their job the site is nice and it is a nice place.
