The Scene – It's easy to fall for hip, sophisticated Ibiza. Blond French doors enclose the sky-tinted interior that features a bustling open kitchen, tableside cocktail carts and flickering candles. Epicures of all ages flood this midtown food and wine bar for the sensuous but judiciously priced menu and intriguing wines marked scandalously low. – – The Food – Chef Charles Clark's benchmark choices set the tone for success. Favorite appetizers include the foie gras and a crab bisque that warms the soul. Delicate sea bass slathered in mango chutney is doused in Rioja…
where the beautiful people go to be disapointed

After being told our first two bottles of wine we ordered were not in stock we finally selected one that they had and the absent minded waiter brought it to the table after we had completed our appetizer. We shared the shrimp with crabmeat cornbread to start the shrimp was great and it was completely destroyed by the cream sauce that was slopped all over the top of it. I then got the Lousiana Redfish which was fine but no better then grilling a piece of fish at home. My wife got the pork chop with madera wine sauce which was a huge slab of meat but brined so heavily in salt that it took away any essence of what the chop could have been. Overall if I was going out for a $100.00 + dinner ibiza would not be the place. Service was awful, food was forgetable, and atmosphere was stuffy with all the beautiful people acting "beautiful" and as if they could have their own reality show.
- Pros: outdoor dining
- Cons: service, food, atmosphere
Good food and Decor

I came with a group of 15 and made reservations for a birthday party. The decor and set-up of the restaurant is eloquent and nice ambience. I order the lamb chops and have to say that it was excellent. The portions of all the entrees were more then enough, excellent wine, and the wait staff was excellent in service. I would have to agree that it is pricey but you do get your money’s worth. Only con I have is that they actually charged me $2 per slice to cut a cake I brought in myself which I felt was overbearing since spending nearly $800 in dinner and wine. I’d definitely would come again for the food and recommend everyone to try it out at least once, just be prepared to come on an empty stomach and have your wallet ready.
- Pros: Food, Decor, Service, Portions
- Cons: Charged for cake cutting

We were there a week ago for a dinner. Unfortunately, the waitress waiting for our table was extremely rude! It was a very unpleasant experience. We really regret that we went.
- Pros: ok food
- Cons: rude servers.
