The Scene
It's easy to fall for hip, sophisticated Ibiza. Blond French doors enclose the sky-tinted interior that features a bustling open kitchen, tableside cocktail carts and flickering candles. Epicures of all ages flood this midtown food and wine bar for the sensuous but judiciously priced menu and intriguing wines marked scandalously low.
The Food
Chef Charles Clark's benchmark choices set the tone for success. Favorite appetizers include the foie gras and a crab bisque that warms the soul. Delicate sea bass slathered in mango chutney is doused in Rioja wine broth with delicious effect. Desserts are rotated seasonally, so allow your server to flaunt the day's selections.

I've eaten at Ibiza twice before and loved it, the food and wine is up to my English standards. We have got relatives over from the uk which we are taking there tonight. However, when phoning to book our table this morning, the person who took my booking thought I'd hung up and started mimicking my accent. I'm not impressed at all by this because it's so rude an unacceptable. I hope that person is working tonight as I have a very big tip for him - learn some manners!

We are from louisiana, so the menu had a noticable amount of the cajun and creloe cusine we know and love, We were greeted by a friendly young blonde erin who was very knowledgeable about the menu the wine, and the resturaunts both ibiza and catalan, she told us of catalans chef chris who we are dying to try, and gave us a brief history on ibizas chef charles, who suprisingly made his way to the table, wow!!! talk about service we were so impressed, then our apps came which was the shrimp and crab corn bread another must try WOW !!! the dinner and experiance is truly worth a try, they will make you feel like your right at home, there is a certain chemistry here that most resturaunts cant capture, and boy yall have got it!!! thank you all for a memmorable evening.

We had wanted to try Ibiza for quite some time and finally went on my wife's birthday. The ambiance was nice, nothing great; patio seating was nice but a bit warm. We started out cocktails which were outrageously priced. Appetizers: SPANISH OLIVES, JAMON SERRANO AND MANCHEGO CHEESE - nice to start, but slicing ham and cheese doesn’t take a culinary genius - 2 Stars. LONG STEM ARTICHOKE HEARTS WITH SARDINIAN STYLE FREGOLA PASTA AND BLACK OLIVE OIL - very nice, tender with mild flavor with something like couscous-3 Stars. Entrees: GRILLED LOUISIANA REDFISH WITH SHELLFISH COURT BOUILLON AND SPICY TASSO RISOTTO - Nice flaky fish cooked perfectly, nice mild broth, the risotto was the stand out in the dish, it was excellent - 4 Stars. MOROCCAN GRILLED SHRIMP WITH GOAT CHEESE POLENTA - Shrimp were small but not over cooked, nice flavor. Polenta was pureed and relative tasteless: 3 Stars. Wine: CADE-SAUVIGNON BLANC-“PLUMPJACK” NAPA VALLEY CA – Nice bottle of wine at a reasonable price, however nowhere on the label was “Plumpjack” mentioned but I later learned this is a “value label” from the Plumpjack folks. They brought out “Loving Cup” of cotton candy with a sparkler on top for my wife’s birthday which she thoroughly enjoyed. All in all, a bit pricey relative to food quality. BIGGEST COMPLAINT!!!!!! You are forced to use Valet Parking or park somewhere on the street and walk up. When we arrived there were more than a dozen empty spaces with “cones” blocking them for the valet. The valet took my car and pulled into a spot less than 20 feet from where I stopped at the valet stand!!! I don’t need or want valets parking my car, but you have no choice. In order to have my voice heard regarding the valet issue, I won’t be returning to Ibiza until they learn to let the valets walk and reserve the parking up from for customers.
