Between 1960 and 1975, European film production companies made nearly 600 westerns. Critics either blasted or ignored these films, and because they were financed by Italian companies, they called them Spaghetti Westerns. Fans of the genre embraced the term which is now lovingly used to lable any western made and financed by continental filmakers. We Cater Any Event, Any Size, Anywhere! The Scene – Earthy but playful, this warm scene is set with Western photos of days past. Little ones ramble the floor while area neighbors sip and chat, nestled comfortably in the spacious black booths. With limey, invigorating Italian margaritas, choice jukebox tunes and nostalgic flick posters, most urban cowboys find this Spaghetti Western endearing. – – The Food – Straight shooters aim for the spaghetti and meat sauce with sausage, perfectly robust except for the sweet-edged marinara. Old-fashioned alfredo sauce makes repeat appearances, even inventively ladled on…

I've been to the Spaghetti Western a few times, but I'm not too terribly impressed. It's alright, I suppose. I do really like their Italian Nachos, but so far that's the only thing I've been super crazy about. Oh, the breadsticks are awesome, too. My best friend had the stuffed shells the other day and it was 3 shells with cheese stuffing only and some sauce and that was it...no salad or anything. I've had the southwestern lasagna (it's called something like that) and it's alright. Lots of chicken chunks in it and the salsa it's topped with is tasty. I wasn't impressed with the presentation. My piece of lasagna was completely falling apart and was pretty much a slop of ingredients covered with salsa. I also didn't feel very lasagna-ee about it. If I wanted a whole bunch of sour creamy chicken enchilada filling one day, that's exactly what I'd order, though. They do have a pretty solidly stocked juke box, though...I feel like I'm still listening to Classic Vinyl on my XM when I flip through the pages. I'll probably be back and try a few other things, but it's not amazing or anything.

  • Pros: Bread is delicious, jukebox
  • Cons: Service can be slow, food's alright

Nice decor, food so so

by lalka

Ate there last night 3/3/09 and overall the food was slightly less than average. The breadsticks were way underbaked and soft, I like my breadsticks chewy, firm and a little crunchy. My veggie pasta was okay but chef forgot to add much seasoning. Being vegetarian I like my veggies tasty, not simply steamed. My friend had the salmon & angel hair pasta. The salmon was good but chef again forgot to add salt or other seasoning to the pasta. We ordered spinach on the side and it was very tasty so we knew the chef had access to salt and lemon and other spices. We took leftovers home and plan to doctor them up for another meal. The decor was nice but the floor looked dirty. I wouldn't want my children crawling on it. And the little waitstaff guy busily swept the floor while we were trying to eat, gross. Better to do that after closing. We may try the pizza next time to see if it warrants a third visit.

  • Pros: Fast service
  • Cons: Not enough seasoning in food
