Within walking distance of Galveston Island's beaches, bars, shopping and restaurants, Paradise Guest House and Resort is a tropical style B&B frequented by gay travelers and open-minded heteros. Set behind a black, wrought-iron fence on the city's 1890's trolley route in a residential neighborhood, this tan, two-story home resides amid tropical gardens, colorful birds, a heated pool, patios and several ponds populated with large Koi fish.

The Details
Paradise offers an intimate venue of just five rooms and two suites, all of which are located near the pool, spa and patios. All accommodations offer cable TV with VCRs and refrigerators, and the decor is colorful and tropical without being ostentatious. Some rooms have their own private entrance and most have their own bathrooms.
