The Scene
It's glamorously upscale, but smartly understated, colored in warm, blond tones with marble accents. It's also a scene, packed to the gills nightly with big spenders acting casual. Discriminating VIPs, trophy wives and up-and-comers perch at the showy raw bar slurping oysters or pose in cushy booths aglow in flattering lighting.
The Food
The imaginative seafood creations--aggressively peppered with contemporary Asian, Mediterranean and Creole influences--live up to the pearly environs deliciously. Thai-style fried flounder is dramatic with three curvaceous fillets and spicy crabmeat-lemongrass rice. Mediterranean salmon is lavish in its tarragon crust, co-starring couscous, roasted red peppers and wild mushrooms. Giant, garlicky "Big Easy" barbecued shrimp and the lobster-slaw martini, to name a few, raise Houston dining to a new level.

I love this seafood restaurant. The waitstaff has always been really knowledgable and very attentive. The food is great! We loved everything we ordered!
