As a former server and bartender - I can honestly say this is the first time I've never tipped. Had dinner and drinks at the bar. Bartender was not only worthless but was also very unfriendly. Had to flag down bartender (Morgan) for every drink even after sitting empty glass at edge of bar for 10 minutes. Not once did she glance our way after serving dinner. And absolutely loved hearing her reply "AH HUH" after thanking her when she had to go out of her to bring us a drink or our bill. Also loved how she gave me back 25 cents when my change should have been 29 cents. I know, I know - it's only four cents, but every four cents adds up. ---Reverse discrimination???? Let's just say the customers of color received a lot of attention from her.

WOW...and not in a good way. I see no one has left a review on this place in a while. Maybe its because they stepped up their game for a while, but they have gone back down since the last review.

Me and my family have been going to Razzoo's for many years. Always had a great time. Never more than a few minutes to be seated, waitstaff always came by to check on us etc.

However that is clearly not the case tonight. We just got home from eating there and I can promise you it is the last time. Let me start by saying that it takes us about 45 mins to an hour to get to Razzoo's. So when we go we have to really be in the mood for it and wanting to spend a little extra money because it is not cheap to feed a family of 5 here.

Once we got to Razzoo's there was a massive party leaving. Looked to be a church group or maybe a wedding party. Either way I would say there was about 35-40 people in this group. Once we entered there was a group of about 5 in front of us who had just been told to take a seat. About 15 mins in they were seated. Not a bad wait time but much longer than we have ever waited for a table. Still no biggie.

Then 25 mins came around and the 5 in our group were STILL waiting. Groups of 3 and 4 people would walk in about every 5 mins and were seated right away. I figured there must have been a few more big parties and they were just out of tables to seat 5. Then 35 mins came around. My mother in law decided to take a look in the seating area to see how many people were actually in there that was causing us to wait so long. Turned out there were PLENTY of tables inside and only about 2 of the tables outside were occupied. So she went and found a manager.

The manager told her that "it was a fire hazard to push 2 or more tables together" and that if they did that they would "have to assign 2 extra tables to a waiter". I am sorry but what kind of bull crap answer is that? I have worked in that field before and there was never any "fire hazard" for putting 2 or more tables together. Not only that but how do they accomodate for parties above 4 when all their 5 top tables are occupied?

We continued to wait. After about 50 mins we were finally called to be seated. As we were getting up to be seated a group of 10 walked in. As we passed them I felt like telling them "good luck" because if we had to wait for a table to seat 5 it would be at least twice as long for them. As they showed us to our talbe guess where we ended up....thats right, at two tables pushed together. As we all picked which part of the tables we wanted to sit at, the party of 10 walked behind us and were being seated RIGHT AWAY! There is NO way they could have seated them at any single table. They HAD to push tables together for that group. But wait, I thought that was a fire hazard?

The waiters and clean up crew were horrid. It took them 35 mins in a nearly empty resturant to clear the empty tables that were all around us. Our waiter would magicly disappear after checking on us. She wasnt waiting on other tables or working on bills. She also brought us our food cold which was pretty nasty. We literally saw her a total of 4 times. And one of the times was when she was sent back to fix the check.

I should mention that the girls at the front of the house could not and would not give us an answer as to how long the wait would be. If they had mentioned it would be an hour we would have gone somewhere else and returned to Razzoo's another day. But after this experience we will NOT be returning to this Razzoo's at the very least. And we will be very skeptical about going to any other Razzoo's as well.

LOVEEEEEEEEEEE THIS PLACE. This has been my husband and my spot since the day we met. You get soooooo much food for your money. The food is great. The staff is so nice. The location is a nice spot too. It has out door eating by the water. Its just soooo nice. Shopping center in the same parking lot and a movie theatre.

I LOVE IT

Once Favored, now Despised. Just went back from last week to purchase the Jaws platter for my family in celebration of my husband and my mother-in-law birthday. Once we arrived we notice we only had 1 caaryout bag when we have purchased it before it came in a long aluminum tray. Mind you this platter costs 50.00. Now the employee tells us that they stiffed us on the food (giving us minimum portions) so she then notified her superior. He comes out and states that

it is all pre-portioned and that we indeed received the correct amount of food. Once he was made aware that we have ordered this platter previously on numerous occasions, he then stated that the did not have those trays today, but just placed the food to go in 3 regular containers. We basically informed him that he was trying to get over with his reply of we are known to give the most food. I guess today was not the day to receive what you pay for. He then restated that he would add a little of gator. We of course informed him this would be OUR VERY LAST VISIT and would be sure to notify all of our colleagues and friends TO NOT FREQUENT this establishment. Oh by the way we were just there the previous 2 weeks while we were out shopping. It takes us approx.an hour to get here. I guess customers are no longer appreciated for patronage.

Workers could care less about you. We dined at Razzoos 2/21/09 and we walked into a room of people waiting on tables yet there were tables open. This was around 1:30 in the afternoon. The hostess was not there to greet. When she did come in..her cell phone was her main concern and gossiping with another worker. My fried shrimp was not fried properly. No coleslaw on the menu, no homemade onion rings, no bread to tie you over no cocktail sauce. I lived in luziana for 5 yrs. and this place is a joke. Go accross the freeway to Papadeaux. No control over customers kids at razzoo's ,,invisable waiters and waitress's and they act like you owe them a living! I am a 20% tipper and I left 0 and wrote terrible on the check. The manager has NO control over his immature employee's and they certainly do run the show...You couldn't pay me enough to go back.

YUMMY!. I absolutley love this resturant. First let me say. . . I read one of the reviews about how a party had water spilled on them TWICE. I just wanted to say, GET OVER IT! You have obviously never been a server and should realize mistakes are made and people get nervous. As far as having your ticket comped.... Ugh, whatever. If I nudge you while walking, should I give you half of whats in my purse. People like you are just trying to get a free ride. Anyway, try the crawfish etoufee it is to die for as well as the gumbo. I have honestly never had better tasting Etoufee. It is resonably priced I feel. Not the cheapest, but def. not what I would consider outrageous.

Cajun restaurant and bar offers Mardi Gras atmosphere year-round.. In Short
Neon beer signs, string lights and paper flags hanging from the ceiling feel straight from Bourbon Street. The dining room has tables and booths, while the bar provides alternative seating. Rock, reggae and jazz play as the quick waitstaff deliver half-shell oysters, po' boys, jambalaya plus other Cajun favorites like blackened catfish, Cajun etouffee and boiled crawdaddies. The full bar has daily beer specials and Big Easy potions, like frozen daiquiris and hurricanes.

great experience. I took a really large group on a Saturday evening after calling ahead 2 hours. We were seated after a twenty minute wait. The food was wonderful and the service by waitress Erica was top notch. I would go back in a heartbeat. We had a few extra prople to show up and Razoo's bent over backward to accomodate us.

Bad Service. I love their food, but their service is hit & miss. Once we went there and ordered our food, and at the end when the waiter was supposed to bring us dessert, he forgot and brought us the check, and charged us for it! Just recently we went there and we waited for the hostess to finish her conversation with the manager before sitting us, & we ended up sitting there for 10 minutes, with no one coming by or even saying, "we'll be right with you." We got up & left and the manager says, thanks, come back and see us! No, not until you improve your service.
