In Short – It began in '68 with bits of brass, marbles, rocks and buttons overtaking the lawn. By the time John Milkovisch died in 1988, he had devoted 18 years and approximately 39,000 beer cans to covering the house, fence, trees and remainder of the yard with recycled materials. Watch for flattened beer cans as aluminum siding, curtains made out of pull tabs and the enigmatic Ladder to Success. This local folk art legend is now a gallery/workshop owned by the Orange Show Foundation.
