Great service from the manager, Mark. Our waiter was very slow, and gave considerably more attention to the large party behind us. Boo.

I have food allergies (corn) so I asked for the manager. His name was Mark. I wanted the fried jalapeno appetizer. Mark checked ingredients in the kitchen and said it had a corn based batter but it could be battered with flour. He watched it in the kitchen to make sure it was right. He came back around a few times to make sure everything was okay. He was probably more attentive than our waiter!

Getting food made to order to accommodate food allergies outweighs the service, just as for Mark!

good seafood. The food was excellend and there was not a wait on the Friday night that my wife and I went. The service was very fast and we spent a very enjoyable evening. Imagine my supprise when my credit card bill did not match the receipt from that night. For good food and good service I would recommend Babins, but keep your receipts.

With a menu that includes seafood, steak, chicken and pasta, Babin's can please the palates of a wide variety of patrons. Fish is flown in daily to ensure freshness and can be prepared in a variety of ways, including grilled and blackened. Other seafood dishes include oysters Rockefeller, gumbo and fried shrimp. Others enjoy the spicy rice and beans, prime rib and fresh salads. The signature dessert is a divinely rich Bourbon St. bread pudding.

Terrific Seafood, and other great things. This has got to be one of my favorite places in Houston. I love this restaurant, the staff is so wonderful, and they make you feel at home, and that is just such a great thing when you are dining out. The food is the best here. Try the Shrimp po boy, Ooh Wee is it good!, It comes with homeade fries, and you can request cole slaw which I highly recommend you do, and the po boy comes with a remulade sauce that you spread on the po boy or whatever you want, also try the crawfish salad, and the fried catfish!

great since day one. We went to their grand opening and have been regular customers ever since. The service and quality was great the day they opened and is the same today. They also have the best bar in the area check it out!

Excellent seafood, consistant quality!. The food, service and decor of the Willowbrook location has my family hooked! At every special occasion, we request Babin's.The food is magnificent! There is always a long list of fresh catches along with at least 3 daily specials. My favorite dish is usually Mahi-mahi with the house cream sauce with shrimp, crawfish, and scallops. Mmm... my mouth is watering now.

Houston's best Seafood w/ a Cajun Twist!. I just can't say enough about the place. I have been searching Houston for the best seafood restaurant for over 5 yrs...and Babain's gets my award, leaving the rest of the pack remaining in the fishing net. The freshest of seafood...incredible taste balances. The server took time to explain the best sauces to compliment the market fish for the day. You can't ask for more...they even have a bar with an unusual item like 150yr anniversary grand marnier.

Lots of options!. My first visit to Babin's was a very good one. I found there to be ample choices on the menu. My server was very knowledgeable and made solid recommendations. The halibut with Babin's topping was very light and mild tasting. My baked sweet potato was delicious. The ground walnuts on top was something I have not seen before -- a nice touch. My only complaint of the evening was the bread pudding. I found it to be too thick and solid. I would have preferred it topped with ice cream rather than merangue. I will definitely return to Babin's!
