In Short – The restaurant has become the headquarters of choice for those who live in the surrounding apartments and lofts, as well as those stopping by for dinner and drinks before heading home from downtown. The mustard- and brown-tufted interior, paired with de rigueur stained-concrete floors provide the backdrop for hip 20- and 30-something singles and couples dining on Thai curry mussels or lightly fried calamari served with wasabi mayo and basil-laced marinara.
Decent Place. Nothing Extraordinary.

I originally wanted to get the spinach & feta souffle but I was informed that they ran out of that item. So I ordered the Breakfast Quesadillas. It was okay. I could have made something similar better at home. Overall, I have yet to see anything spectacular about Farrago.
- Pros: bottomless mimosa for $9
- Cons: ran out of menu item & parking situation was a pain.
Rude, Unacceptable Behavior
by Kayvee at Citysearch
At about 8:30PM on Saturday, July 18, 2009, our party of 7 arrived at Farrago’s for dinner. We were looking forward to sampling some international cuisine, while celebrating the birthday of one of our family members.
Upon arrival, we found the restaurant to be less than half full; in contrast to some other neighborhood establishments that were overflowing with customers, many standing outside, waiting to be seated. As we walked in, we found 4 or 5 customers being led by an attendant, with no hostess at the entrance for several minutes to even greet us. We waited patiently until someone, who appeared to be the maitre d’, casually shuffled in. His first words, with no opening greeting or welcome, were “what do you want?” He was arrogant, swaggering, rude, unwelcoming, and entirely too casual. There was no graciousness in his voice or in his demeanor. In these depressed economic times, one would have presumed that customers (especially 7 in one shot), would have been received with a courteous smile, warmth, and enthusiastic hospitality. Right there, we concluded that our entertainment dollars would be much better spent elsewhere - and we walked out, only to patronize another near-by restaurant, where we were accorded the correct welcome and service.
Not only will we not patronize Farrago in the future, but being business folks, we will actively encourage other corporate associates and friends of ours to do likewise.
Trendy Vibe and great Salads and Pizza

I crave the salads at Farrago. They have a Goat Cheese Brulee Salad that I love and they have an awesome Cesar Salad. My husband likes their sausage Pizza.
- Pros: Good Food and Quick Service Before Rockets Games
- Cons: Parking Maybe?
