Pretty store but the selection is ok. Better for dressy than casual clothes. Friendly staff!! I'll go back when I need a formal!

Love the Style.
I love the elegant, classic style. The pieces are always fashionable and yet stand the test of time.
I wish I had more disposable income, I would have my entire wardrobe filled with Tooties style, but alas I have to settle for a piece here and there.
Ironically since I can only afford a piece here and there I cherish the pieces I have and I am always complimented on how great they look and i have had some of these pieces for years.
PS Love the new location. It is bright, airy, and chic.

The most exclusive selection in Houston!. I just moved here and all the girls at the club mentioned Tootsies. I'm so glad they did! Excellent selection, customer care and beautiful, beautiful clothes, accessories and shoes! I bought a new Jimmy Choo Ramona bag in taupe plus shoes and had to stop shopping before my husband had a heart attack! Love it!

Good Experience. After looking all over town for a simple yet elegant wedding dress I stopped in here because they sold a line of dresses I was interested in. The sales person was extremely helpful, and even though they didn't have exactly what I wanted he brought out the designer's book and said they could order any of the dresses . I ended up ordering one, but still wasn't sure. They let me take the dress home to think about it (and show my mom) and said I could bring it back if I changed my mind. The whole experience was so refreshing after spending dozens of hours in snooty bridal boutiques. I can see how some people might find this place a little pretentious--it seems like mainly rich older women from River Oaks shop here--but I had a good experience and every one was very helpful.

User review by cbfehr. I had never been to, or heard of, Tootsie's until today. A friend recommended it to me, and I went there to shop for a Valentine's Day dress for my girlfriend. Not one, but TWO, saleswomen helped me pick out the perfect dress (as it was clear I had no idea what I was doing). Yes, the prices are expensive, but they are basically what you would expect for the selection they offer. They also included a beautiful gift-wrap at no charge.

SNOB. I had a horrible experience. I was made to feel so inferior by a bunch of insecure, reconstructed people. They have to act so snob to feel that they can blend in with the "Rich" . Oh, I had money to spend, but heck if I was going to take that kind of treatment. I can get insulted eleswhere, thanks but no thanks; you're not that original.

Over-rated. The sales people were rude and acted superior. I went in prepared to buy an outfit for a special occasion and left disgusted.
