Didn't fill order for Christmas dinner. I placed my order for a Christmas dinner - turkey, dressing to only go p/u and they told me they didn't have my order. Erik said the two other stores also oversold (OVER PROMISED) turkeys! Bad business so I was left on Christmas eve without my Christmas dinner due to poor managment. Erik's attitude was also "your problem, not mine"! I will not give my business to them ever again!

Loud, poor service, food not good!. Well, I grew up in the heart of Cajun country, Lafayette, LA. I have a pretty good idea of what cajun food should taste like and I was sorely disappointed in the quality of the food. The service was really terrible.

This was the first cajun food restaurant in the Houston metro that we tried and we won't be back. There are many others that offer better quality and authenticity, at a fraction of the price.

Best Crawfish in Houston.Good food, but not authentic.. I actually like this place, but in moderation because it is VERY expensive. For those who like Ragin Cajun food, sign up for their monthly coupons. You can get some of your favorites for a fraction of the price. I'm Creole so I think their food is good, but not authentic. So far, I've tried their soft shell crab which was tasty. I've had their dirty rice....which didn't taste like dirty rice, but it was still very flavorful. I've had their shrimp and crab gumbo, which was also flavorful (i had to spice it up though).....the only problem is that they put WAY too much rice in it. All in all, they have the HUGEST crawfish around. Yes, it is SUPER expensive for what seems like a measly ol 3.5 lbs but trust me......I've actually shopped around and no one has bigger or better crawfish as of right now. All in all, I think it’s a good place with tasty food and a friendly staff!

Overrated! 5 stars? Why? NOT RECOMMENDED. I saw the reviews and had to try this place. What a waste of money! The food was OK, but way overpriced. I went with my wife and we ordered the Shrimp Etouffee and the Catfish Filets entree. The Etouffee was not very good, with the roux not brown or the right flavor. The jambalaya side was good, along with the french bread and cornbread, but I didn't come for the sides. The Catfish was good, but $15.99 for the entree with two sides and bread is TOO MUCH. Go to RAZOO'S instead! the atmosphere was very loud with the UT game on near the bar, and a loud TV on the other side.

BLAH seafood for too much money!. this place is a complete rip off. You can buy 3 pound crawfish here for over 20.00 where they have them in other places now for 2.95 a pound! and they taste better!!!!

I just can't belive i wasted 69.00 on food here! Their gumbo tasted like ROUX WATER with rice

What Excitement!. Went here for the first time on a Friday. Crowded, yes.. but not bad for a Friday night. They got you in and out fast. The food was fast and seating wasn't too hard to find. Had to share an extended seating table with another group, but it wasn't bad at all. Had the shrimp basket. came with fries and french bread. VERY YUMMY!!!! there was a dip that we used for the shrimp that was better than cocktail sauce. Loud, but great for ppl watching and impressive service! Will definitely go back again! (2 shrimp baskets and 2 sodas = $25 - but well worth it!)

Dont Believe The Hype.... We live in League City and we wanted to go get "the best" crawfish...so we citysearch best cajun and Ragin Cajun has a 9.7... Yeah its far, but we think... "good crawfish? worth it!"... Well It wasnt! Not only did we drive 45 minutes to get there but when we did arrive we saw prices...3lbs of crawfish for 22 bucks. And not just that but most of the crawfish were the size of a dime. The only way I can figure someone rating this restuarant more than a 2, is that it must be managment or employees trying to get people in there. We left ...25 dollars poorer and hungry! The taste was spicy, which was good. However, THAT, is the only compliment I can give Ragin Cajun. Do not believe the hype. This is not worth your time or money.
