Great Lunch Menu for the Vietnamese Chinese Lover in you. When I lived in Houston Taydo was just down the street from my apartment. It was my lunch destination of choice at least twice a week. They offer an excellent affordable lunch menu with many Chinese and Vietnamese choices. It has the normal Chinese dishes like Sesame Chicken and Sweet and Sour chicken, but there are also some more unique dishes containing lemongrass and ginger. The Pho dishes and vermicelli dishes are all excellent and they have excellent spring rolls. The list of Pho and soups is extensive, more extensive than most noodle houses actually. It is an affordable destination for both lunch and dinner, but I would recommend going for lunch. It has a very large dining room so seating is not a problem and the service is always exceptional.

Vietnamese Adventure. Business-like staff: fresh, tasty food. Full of Vietnamese people which is good. Recommended: Charcoal Broiled Beef with Lemongrass, Stir-fried Salty Crispy Squid, Beef Noodle or Seafood Satay soups.

Don't go here if you're high-maintenance or shy to try new things.

Great Family place. I enjoy taking the family to this restaurant. I have eaten here many many times and never received bad food or service. Excellent food. I have eaten the happy family meal, sweet and sour shrimp, vietnamese egg rolls, lemon grass chicken, and others and they are great. Very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recomended.
