Crying Shame!!!. This was once the coolest place on the Kemah Boardwalk. The fine dining place upstairs is now a sushi bar, and a good one at that, but ...I miss the old Dutchman. The food at the new place was not much better than Joe's Crab Shack next door. The staff at Joe's is probably better than the one at Flying Dutchman. I went to Joe's Crab Shack on the Boardwalk 2 days ago and I have to say the food and service was better. I am here for wine festival and I don't think I will ever come back. You can have so -so food or so - so service, but you cannot have both. It was like I was at a McDonald's.....actually, the food and service is better at a McDonald's...
