Plenty of cheap seats available. The. There are games all Memorial Day weekend, so you can take in a baseball game and have a hot dog and beer like a true American.

the big orange. One of the best teams in baseball deserve one of the best parks, and thats what the Astros have. Great views of the skyline in right field, cheap upper deck seats, and good food. Take ME out to the ball game!

Well worth a trip. Being from NY, I am not an Astros fan, but I went to the game anyway to see the new ballpark. I was very impressed. Comfortable atmosphere, nice look to the park, and serves pretty good food for a ballpark. I hope we get a park as nice as this in NY someday soon. I have seen several reviews complaining about the prices, but they are no more expensive then the prices at Shea and Yankee stadiums. In all, it is a great place to see a game.

Nice park. It's a very nice stadium but it's very expencive. Food and things like that are outragous. Hard for a family to go there cheap. Parking can be hard to find too unless you get there early.

Rich mans Ballpark. Yes this new Minute Maid Field is a nice and upclose ballpark. But it is a buisnessmans ballpark. I miss the dome, Home of the family can see a game at a reasonable price and still sit where you can see the game. We are a family of five and we could go to the dome and see a game and sit in the pavillion and actually see the players. And still be able to afford our house note when we got home. At minute maid park I took the family and got the same price tickets as the dome pavillion and We sat so high that my kids asked if there were players on the field. We just got back from Arlington field and for $36 we all five sat in the lowest row and watched a game from the outfield. .

Arlington?. The reviewer who prefers the stRangers' park in Arlington clearly doesn't understand the fun of urban baseball. Arlington is a theme park atmosphere in the middle of nowhere. It's antiseptic and bland.

Minute Maid Park is urban and cool, with the skyline over the left field wall, bars and restaurants in close proximity and a close, intimate feel. It's expensive, but fun.

Oh...and all the (281)ers who complain about parking -- we who live in the city know our secret places to park downtown, so it's no problem. If you need a huge mall lot to feel comfortable, you should take your TGI Friday's mentality up to Arlington, where you'll find your own kind. Better yet, just stay in Ft. Bend County, where you belong.

Baseball Review. Since the new stadium was built, the prices for the game tickets and especially in the concession stands have sky-rocketed. The average family with children can no longer afford "a day at the park". In addition, the parking situation in downtown Houston is unbelievable. I hate going to games there.

Beautifully Quaint But.... I like the stadium but like all forms of entertainment these days it is too pricey for the average family of 4. Some compromising by both owners and players needs to happen before all of this country's new venues are not big empty white elephants.

Deep in the Heart of Texas. Seats are too small and cramped. No leg room. Would have been nice to have built-in cup holders. Concessions are definitely an improvement from the Dome but would have prefered Blue Bell ice cream to the stuff they're serving now. I'm sick of the beer guys always blocking the isles. They should have planed for that better (i.e. bigger isles). Ruggles was a great idea. The field is awesome and you gotta love the retractable roof and naturall grass. Parking is much better than was at the Dome and the downtown atmosphere is great. However, the music played between innings is too loud and sometimes offensive. Understandably it would be impossible to play music to suit all, but at least turn it down some. But I do like "Deep in the Heart of Texas" in the 7th.

average. I think the ball park is ok. It is a pleasure to watch the Astros, but the parking is crazy. The food and drinks are outragely priced.
