Loved the review but ... what ARE those 'pricey' prices? Guess I could ask the baker, huh? Anyway, it sure sounds like the cakes were delightful and that your wedding was divine. I'm not getting married anytime soon (at least, not that I know of anyway - grin) but when I do, I certainly will be checking out this baker! I'm moving back home to Texas after being up in Alaska for the last 30 years and I am SO looking forward to being back among the friendliest, most original, creative and FUN people on the planet! BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVO!

Miss Janette made mine and my husband's wedding cakes last summer for our wedding. We had sort of a themed wedding and instead of having a traditional wedding cake and a groom's cake, we had two sculptured cakes in the shape of Bevo and 'Bevette' with veil and everything....we were afraid the fondant would ruin the flavor, but it the cakes were not only aesthetically pleasing, but sooooo delicious! Bevette was Italian creme and Bevo was chocolate. SO many people took pictures of the cakes - they were a hit! The only things left after we were done eating them were horns and the frame that the cake was built around. She also made us an anniversary cake a couple of days ago and it was half Italian creme, half chocolate - as delicious as they were a year ago. The sculpted cakes were pricy, but WELL worth it!!!!
